Dear God please help my son. He is an adult and he has gone through many hard times in his life. He almost died from a ###. He spent over 5-6 months living Away from us in a recovery home. He has just ended a relationship with a person ###. Wow. My son has a good soul. We raised our kids to be the best that they could be. We went to church every Sunday morning and they and I were baptized. My wife comes from an old school Catholic family. Amen. Please dear God please help my wife and our adult kid's and please help me be a better person and a better husband and a better dad to our adult kid's and please help me be a better employee to help my coworkers and my coworkers and my bosses succeed with the work that we are blessed to have in front of us. Please take care of my only brother that I have left in my family. He is older than me but he is doing well. Thank you for this service and for the people who have prayed for me. I too pray for everyone who is reading this message. Amen and Peace be with you 🙏

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your son and your entire family to our Heavenly Father. We see the love of a father who desperately wants the best for his children, and we join with you in seeking God’s mercy and healing. Your son has endured so much, physical trials, emotional struggles, and now the pain of a broken relationship. Yet, we know that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We declare that His grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Father, we pray for your son’s complete restoration, body, mind, and soul. You are the God who heals, and we ask that You would touch him with Your healing hand. Where there has been addiction, we rebuke the enemy’s grip and declare freedom in the name of Jesus. Where there has been heartache, we ask for Your comfort to surround him like a shield. Lord, we pray that he would draw near to You, for You have promised that when we draw near to You, You will draw near to us (James 4:8). May he find his strength, purpose, and identity in Christ alone.

We also lift up your marriage and your role as a husband and father. The Bible calls husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the church (Ephesians 5:25), and fathers to raise their children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). We pray that you would grow in wisdom, patience, and grace as you lead your family. May your home be a place of peace, unity, and godly love. We ask that the Lord would strengthen your marriage and help you and your wife to stand together in faith, even in the midst of trials.

We must address the relationship your son has just ended. While we do not know the details, we know that God’s design for relationships is clear: marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If this relationship did not align with God’s Word, whether through premarital intimacy, ungodly influences, or any other unbiblical foundation, we pray that your son would seek the Lord’s forgiveness and turn away from anything that does not honor Him. The Bible warns us that "bad company corrupts good character" (1 Corinthians 15:33), and we pray that your son would surround himself with believers who will encourage him in righteousness.

We also want to gently remind you of the power of the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If your son has strayed from his faith or is struggling to see Jesus as his Savior and Lord, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict his heart and draw him back to the truth. Salvation is found in no one else, and we declare that your son is covered by the blood of Jesus, who died for his sins and rose again so that he might have eternal life.

Lord, we lift up your brother as well. We thank You for his well-being and ask that You continue to bless him and watch over him. May the bond between siblings be strengthened by Your love, and may they find encouragement in one another.

We also pray for your workplace. May you be a light to your coworkers and bosses, reflecting Christ in your actions and words. Let your work be done as unto the Lord, not to men (Colossians 3:23), and may He open doors for you to share His love with those around you.

Finally, we pray for your own heart. Father, help this man to grow in humility, wisdom, and Christlike love. May he find his strength in You, and may his life be a testimony of Your grace and mercy. We ask that You would fill him with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and that he would trust in You with all his heart, leaning not on his own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. We ask that You would move powerfully in this family, bringing healing, restoration, and revival. May Your will be done in each of their lives, and may they come to know You more deeply with each passing day. We rebuke every scheme of the enemy and declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit upon them, filling them with hope, joy, and a renewed passion for Your Word.

Lord, we thank You for the privilege of lifting up this family to You. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May this family experience Your love in tangible ways, and may they walk in the fullness of Your blessings. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for opening your heart with us. Your love for your son and your whole family comes through so clearly, and we can sense the weight you’ve been carrying. Walking alongside an adult child through such painful seasons, especially after nearly losing him and watching him wrestle through recovery, is deeply exhausting. It’s also holy ground. Your faithful prayers, your honest desire to grow as a husband and dad and employee, and your gratitude even in the struggle, all of that matters. It is not wasted.

We want you to know that we are with you, praying for your son right now. Recovery is rarely a straight line; endings, like the relationship he just left, can be disorienting even when they’re necessary. Your steady, prayerful presence in his life may be one of the most stabilizing forces he has, even when he can’t name it. Knowing that others are praying, that an entire community is holding him before God, can be a hidden anchor in the long, slow work of healing.

One concrete step you might consider is finding a local Christian support group like Celebrate Recovery that has a family component. You and your wife could receive encouragement and practical wisdom from others who understand the delicate balance of supporting an adult child without carrying what only God can carry. It’s also a place where your own soul can be tended, because you’re asking God to make you a better person, and that holy desire deserves nurture too.

Father, we lift this son to you, guard his heart, bring trusted people around him, and keep drawing him toward wholeness. Give this dad and his wife fresh hope and daily wisdom. Strengthen their marriage, their family, and the work you’ve placed in their hands. We trust you with all of it, in Jesus’ name.

There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and even the leaves of that blessed tree are for the healing of the nations. The cry of your heart for your son rises before the throne, and the great Physician is near. You speak of hard times, a brush with death, a season in a recovery home, and a broken relationship. These are the deep wounds for which Christ has healing leaves. He does not merely offer fruit that nourishes; the least things about Him are full of virtue. The same hand that lifted Peter’s wife’s mother from her fever bed is stretched out still, touching the spirit, changing the lifeblood of the soul, and making the nature other than it was before.

Observe this fixed order: healing must come before serving. You rightly desire to be a better husband, a better father, a better employee, but first you must receive, and so must your son. When a person lies sick of a fever, you do not ask them to rise and wait upon the Lord. Your Lord must begin with you before you can begin with Him. That woman in the house of Peter was lifted up first; then immediately she ministered. The desire to serve arises out of healing. So do not go out in your own strength, but look to the one cure-all. Blessed be the Son of God that the bitter medicine was not for us to drink, but was all drained by Himself. He has taken our sicknesses and infirmities upon Himself, and in His wounds there is both pardon and restoration. When the Lord comes and dwells with a man, he has no need to say, “I am sick,” for the Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings.

Wonder not if recovery is slow. The soul, like the body, often regains strength by degrees. As there comes a little increase, acknowledge that the Lord has a new claim on your affection. Persevere in this. The free Spirit works liberty in the free children of God, and though the healing may be gradual, it is certain for those who cling to Christ. Lift up your son, your wife, your children, your brother, and your own heart, and lay them all in the presence of Jesus, hoping and expecting forgiveness and healing. Pray for real healing from His hand, not a mere religious notion that leaves the heart unchanged. The leaves of the tree are for you, for your household, for all who are broken. In the great day, those faces that shine bright and comely in heaven will owe their freshness to these healing leaves. God bless you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You plead for your son, but remember the light shines in darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it. Your son has walked through the shadow of death, yet God has preserved him until now. Do not mourn as those who have no hope. Death itself is no evil for those who belong to Christ; to depart and be with Him is far better. Since he yet lives, give thanks and trust the One who justifies. If God is for us, who can condemn? Christ died and rose, and now intercedes for us.

That season in the recovery home, that broken relationship, these are not tokens of wrath but trials to work patience. Look at the Son of God: He suffered stripes, jeers, the most shameful death, not to spare us affliction but to teach us to bear all manfully. If these things be true, lament not. Your son has a good soul, as you say; then believe God is shaping him for greater glory. Do not think his struggles shame you or him. The Apostle counted bonds for Christ a cause for boldness, for whether by life or by death, Christ is magnified.

You speak of loss. Bear it thankfully. If we endure losses with thanksgiving, either God will restore them or our reward will be greater. Only beware: from fear of God, do not even in thought reach after what is forbidden. Giving thanks when you have suffered loss is equal to almsgiving. So for that broken relationship, turn your eyes to the Healer of souls. He who dissolved the pains of death will bring good from this.

You ask to be a better husband, father, and worker. The way is simple: fear nothing but sin. God justified you freely in baptism. The angel said to Joseph, "Fear not." So I say to you: fear not for your family, your brother, or yourself. Cast all care on Him who provides. Do your work as unto the Lord, and He will bless your efforts. Live as one ready for life or death, unashamed, holding fast to the preaching of Christ. Then true peace will be with you, peace that the world cannot give.

Your heart for your son echoes the cry of every parent who has ever watched a child suffer. I hear the ache in your words, and Scripture shows us that a father’s love does not die, even when the child is wayward or broken. David’s love for Absalom burned fiercely even while Absalom was in open rebellion. David’s chief concern was always for his son’s safety, and when Absalom fell, the wail was still, “My son, my son.” That kind of love is a faint picture of how the Father loves us. So you are not alone in your anguish. God understands a parent’s heart because He gave His own beloved Son.

Your son almost lost his life, spent many months in a recovery home, and now a relationship has ended. These are deep waters. Yet remember the nobleman whose son lay sick many miles away. Jesus only spoke a word, and by the Spirit that child was healed at that very moment. Distance is nothing to the One who is life itself. Jesus is still the Son of God who does the works of the Father and grants life to whom He will. You can bring your grown son before the Lord in prayer, trusting that He hears and can restore what is broken, even from afar.

The clearest thing God has ever spoken is this: He has given us eternal life, and that life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who has not the Son has no life. If your son has not yet firmly rested in Jesus as the Messiah, the only Savior, then that is the deepest need of all. The sin that leads to death is the final, settled refusal to believe in Christ. So as long as his heart is not hardened in deliberate rejection, you have every reason to keep asking. Pray for him with confidence, asking the Lord to draw your son into that living relationship where all lasting healing begins.

You have also asked to be a better husband, father, and worker. That very desire comes from a heavenly Father who corrects every son He receives. The proverb says, “My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord.” His hand is not to crush you but to shape you. When He stirs in you a longing to love more patiently, to work more faithfully, it is the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus working to set you free from the pull of the old nature. Cooperate with that tender pull. The Father delights to shape His children into the image of His Son.

Finally, remember what God asked of Abraham: “Take now your son, your only son, whom you love.” That test was a foreshadowing of the day the Father would give His own Son for a lost world. Abraham acted in trust, and God Himself provided the offering. You can release your son into the hands of the one who gave everything for him. Jesus walked through death itself to bring life to those who will hear His voice. So keep lifting your son up, keep trusting, and rest in this: the same Father who sees your tears is the one who so loved the world that He gave His only Son so that whoever believes will not perish but have everlasting life. Peace be with you.

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your heartfelt request to the Lord in prayer these past days. Our hearts have been united with yours as we lifted up your son—thanking God for his life, his soul, and the love you have poured into raising him in faith. We prayed for healing over the wounds of his past, strength for the road of recovery, and comfort in the wake of his recent heartbreak. We asked the Lord to surround him with His peace, to remind him of his worth in Christ, and to guide his steps forward with hope.

We also stood in agreement with you, asking God to strengthen you as a husband, father, and man of faith—praying that He would fill you with wisdom, patience, and grace as you continue to love and support your family. We lifted up your wife, asking the Lord to comfort her heart and renew her strength in this season. And we prayed for your brother, thanking God for his well-being and asking the Lord to continue to bless him.

We prayed for your workplace, too, asking God to use you as a light among your coworkers and to give you favor as you serve with integrity and kindness. Most of all, we asked the Lord to draw each of you closer to Him, to deepen your trust in His timing, and to fill your home with His presence.

If God has moved in any of these areas—whether in your son’s life, your marriage, your work, or your own heart—we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report from you. Your testimony could be a blessing to others walking a similar path. And if the answers you’re seeking haven’t yet come, please know we are still here, ready to stand with you in prayer. You are not alone in this.

May the Lord continue to uphold you, strengthen your faith, and remind you of His unfailing love. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
