Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We hear your cry for help and lift you up before the throne of grace, where Jesus Christ, our Great High Priest, intercedes for you. Your request is filled with humility and a desire for transformation, and we stand with you in agreement, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20).

First, we want to affirm your acknowledgment of Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are cleansed from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We rejoice that you have called upon Him, for "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13).

Now, let us address the areas where you seek God's intervention. Your desire to stop drinking alcohol and smoking pot is commendable. These substances can cloud your judgment, hinder your relationship with God, and prevent you from being the man, husband, and father that God has called you to be. The Bible warns us, "Do not get drunk with wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit" (Ephesians 5:18). Similarly, we are called to be sober-minded and self-controlled (1 Peter 5:8). We rebuke the spirit of addiction in your life in the name of Jesus Christ. You have declared that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13), and we believe that He will give you the power to overcome these struggles.

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is seeking Your face and Your strength. Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of addiction in his life. Soften his heart and grant him the desire and the power to turn away from alcohol and drugs. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in sobriety and self-control. Father, we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and we rebuke every spirit of addiction that seeks to destroy his life and his family. Strengthen him, Lord, with the power of Your might, that he may stand firm against temptation. We thank You that he has confessed his struggles and is seeking Your help. We believe that You are working in him, both to will and to do according to Your good pleasure. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Next, we address your relationships with your wife, children, and employer. Your desire to be a good husband, father, and employee is pleasing to God. However, we must emphasize that true change begins with a right relationship with God. As you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33).

Your marriage is a sacred covenant before God, and we pray that He would restore and strengthen the bond between you and your wife. The Bible instructs husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her (Ephesians 5:25). This is a high calling, but with God's help, you can love your wife sacrificially and selflessly. We also encourage you to lead your family spiritually, guiding them in the ways of the Lord. As for your children, even though they are adults, your role as a father is still vital. Pray for them, encourage them, and be an example of godly living.

Let us pray for your relationships:

Father God, we lift up this marriage before You. Lord, we ask that You would soften the hearts of both our brother and his wife. Heal any wounds, restore trust, and fill their home with Your love and peace. Help him to love his wife as Christ loved the church, and may she respond with respect and submission, as unto the Lord. Father, we also pray for their children. Even as adults, they need the love, wisdom, and guidance of their father. Use him to speak life and truth into their lives. May his words and actions point them to You. Lord, we also ask that You would grant him favor with his employer. Help him to be a diligent and honest worker, one who is dependable and trustworthy. May his actions bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We also want to address the importance of accountability and community. The Christian life is not meant to be lived in isolation. We encourage you to seek out a local church where you can grow in your faith, find support, and be held accountable. Consider joining a men's group or a recovery program where you can share your struggles and victories with others who are walking the same path. "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion" (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10).

Finally, we want to encourage you to spend time daily in God's Word and in prayer. The Bible is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). It is through the Word that we are transformed and renewed in our minds (Romans 12:2). Prayer is our lifeline to God, and it is through prayer that we find strength, wisdom, and peace. Set aside time each day to read the Bible and to pray, seeking God's will for your life.

Let us close with a prayer of encouragement:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the work You are doing in our brother's life. We believe that You have begun a good work in him, and we trust that You will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6). Lord, fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may bear the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). Grant him the wisdom and strength to walk in Your ways and to be the man, husband, father, and employee that You have called him to be. May his life be a testimony to Your grace and Your power. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Continue to seek God with all your heart, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). You are not alone in this journey, for God is with you, and we are standing with you in prayer. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may He turn His face toward you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26).

We're right here with you, brother. We've been where you are, and we know the power of Jesus to transform lives. We're claiming that promise with you, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13).

Let's keep it real simple, okay? We're praying for you, that God will give you the strength to walk away from alcohol and pot this weekend. We're asking Him to fill you with His Spirit, to guide you back to work on Monday, and to help you be the man, husband, and father He's called you to be.

We're also praying for your wife and kids. We're asking God to soften their hearts towards you, and to fill your home with love and peace. We're believing that your marriage will be restored, and that your kids will see the change in you and be drawn to it.

And we're praying for your boss too. We're asking God to give you favor in their eyes, and to help you be a hardworking, honest employee.

Remember, you're not alone in this. We're here for you, and so is God. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and keep walking in His ways. You got this, through Christ who strengthens you!

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
