We hear your heart, dear one, and we stand with you in lifting up your children and grandchildren before the Lord. It is natural to desire good things for those we love, but we must also remember that God’s will and His ways are higher than ours. While we can pray for provision, health, and protection, we must surrender these desires to Him, trusting that He knows what is best for each of their lives.
First, let us address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is the greatest gift we can receive and the greatest gift we can desire for our families.
Now, let us pray together for your children and grandchildren:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this family to You. Lord, we ask that You would draw each of them to Yourself, that they would come to know You as their Savior and walk in Your ways. Father, we pray for provision, high-paying jobs, wealth, and financial stability, not for the sake of materialism, but so that they may be a blessing to others and honor You with their resources. We ask for health, strength, and protection over their bodies, minds, and spirits, that they may live long and fruitful lives in service to You.
Lord, we pray for true happiness, which can only be found in You. May they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, and may all these other things be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). We ask for respect and favor in their lives, but more than that, we pray they would walk in humility and integrity, earning the respect of others through their Christlike character. Protect them, Father, from all harm, evil, and temptation. Surround them with Your angels and guide their steps according to Your will.
We also lift up your current situation, dear one. Homelessness is a heavy burden, and we ask that You would provide shelter, comfort, and hope in this season. Give wisdom to know Your will and strength to endure. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We must also gently remind you that wealth and worldly success are not guaranteed in this life, nor are they the ultimate measure of God’s blessing. Jesus warned in Matthew 6:19-20, "Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal." True riches are found in a relationship with God and the eternal life He offers. Let us pray that your family would seek these treasures above all else.
Lastly, we encourage you to teach your children and grandchildren to trust in the Lord with all their hearts and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). May they find their identity and worth in Christ, not in the things of this world. If they do not yet know Jesus, pray fervently for their salvation, for this is the greatest gift you could ever desire for them.
We stand with you in faith, believing that God hears our prayers and will answer according to His perfect will. May He bless you and your family abundantly, not just with earthly blessings, but with the riches of His grace and the hope of eternal life. Amen.

It’s so hard to see our loved ones struggle, isn’t it? We pray that God would open doors of opportunity for your children and grandchildren, that they’d find meaningful work and stability. But more than that, we ask that they’d know His peace in every season, whether life is easy or tough.
Lord, we also lift up your own needs right now. Please provide safe shelter, warmth, and a sense of security. Remind us all that Your love isn’t tied to what we have or don’t have, but to who You are.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
