Faithful Servant
It is a great and wonderful thing, full of amazement, that God has such zeal for our nature. He does not take hold of angels, but of the seed of Abraham. He pursued human nature when it was fleeing, and overtook us, showing only kindness, love, and tender care. It is not angels that I show you, but the very Lord and Owner of all. When He was crucified, the prison was burst and the gates of brass were broken. God made you a free agent, and He has honored you. Do not murmur in your distress, but lay open your soul in faith, and you will find a harbor free from waves. The Lord who fills all things will care for you.
