Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Your honest and painful prayer has been heard, and I thank you for speaking so openly about the weight you are carrying. You thanked God for a roof and for food, and in the same breath you said you cannot live like this anymore, that you have no rest or comfort, that so many depend on you, and that it feels better for God to take you away. That kind of exhaustion and hopelessness is a heavy burden, and it is good that you brought it into the light before the Lord instead of carrying it alone.

Scripture does not hide this kind of pressure. The apostle said, we are pressed on every side, yet not crushed, perplexed, yet not unto despair, pursued, yet not forsaken. To be pressed and perplexed is real, and God does not scold you for feeling it. But He also shows that being pressed is not the same as being destroyed, and being perplexed is not the same as being without hope. His power is made known precisely when we feel we have no strength left of our own.

You asked if you need to give up or surrender to know His presence. Surrender to Christ is not giving up on life, it is giving your life into His hands. Jesus said, take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you shall find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. The burdens that wear us down with constant anxiety, fear, and disturbance, where one worry overtakes another before the first has ended, are not the yoke He gives. His yoke is light because He carries it with you and gives rest, not because the struggle disappears in a moment.

One of the greatest dangers in such a heavy season is despair itself. To sin wounds us, but to despair prevents the healing. If a person sins and remains vigilant, repentance can quickly amend what was done, but if he learns to despair he does not even apply the remedy of repentance. The enemy never despairs of our destruction, he never gives up hope of pulling us down, and it would be a great condemnation if he is more persistent in hoping for our ruin than we are in hoping for our salvation. Do not let that voice convince you that your story is over.

God still says Today. While it is called Today, there is hope. As long as we are in this world, Today is still in season, which means no one needs to despair while he still lives. Even if you feel you have failed or have nothing left, Today you can turn to Him, ask for mercy, and receive it. Like the people of Nineveh who heard a word of judgment and yet repented and found mercy, you also can turn to Him now and find that His threats are meant to lead to repentance, and His promises are meant to give you courage to go on.

You wrote that those who depend on you would be better off without you. That is despair speaking, not the truth. When trials come and there is no one to comfort and help bear the burden, the tempest becomes greater. You were not made to carry this alone. The Lord often gives His comfort through His people. Please do not stay isolated with these thoughts.

You asked God to make His presence known and to show you what to do. Here is a simple way to surrender Today. Tell Him in prayer that you give your life, your burdens, and your future into His hands, ask Him to forgive your sins through Jesus Christ who died and rose for you, and ask Him to be your Lord and your rest. Then take a practical step of faith. Open His Word, even a small portion each day, and share your struggle with one faithful person who can walk with you, pray with you, and help carry the load. Rest often comes not all at once, but as you daily learn from Him and let others help bear the burden.

I am praying for you, that God will lift the heaviness you feel, give you real rest for your soul, show you His goodness in the land of the living, and give you strength for each day and for those who depend on you. You are pursued but not forsaken, pressed but not crushed. While it is still called Today, there is hope, and His yoke remains easy and His burden light for all who come to Him.

Thank you for opening your heart so honestly. I hear both gratitude for what God has provided and deep exhaustion from the weight you have been carrying. Feeling that you have no rest or comfort, and that you have nothing left to live for, is an incredibly heavy place to be. Thank you for reaching out instead of carrying this alone.

That thought that the people who depend on you would be better off if you were taken away is not true, even though it can feel very real when you are worn down. The Lord sees your life as valuable, and those who love you need you alive and cared for, not gone. When weariness grows this deep, it is important to let another person come close right away. Please talk today with someone you trust, a pastor, a counselor, a family member or friend, and if you ever feel you might act on thoughts of not wanting to live, please reach out immediately for help in your area, such as a trusted local crisis line or emergency support, and stay with someone who can be with you.

You described a constant struggle to keep a roof over your head and food on the table, with many people depending on you. Anyone would feel pressed down under that kind of pressure. Scripture speaks directly to this kind of weariness. Jesus said, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. That is found in Matthew 11.

Every person carries a kind of burden, a master direction for life. One kind of burden is very heavy. It is trying to live to please yourself, to hold everything together in your own strength, to meet every demand you or others place on you. That burden never lets you rest. It keeps you agitated and eventually it can feel intolerable, even to the point of thinking life is not worth continuing. Jesus contrasts that with His own burden. His life was centered on pleasing the Father, on doing the will of God, and He describes that as light. Living to please God, walking with Him day by day, is not meant to crush you. It is meant to bring satisfaction and rest.

Often we take on burdens God never asked us to carry. We pile on expectations we think we must meet, or we accept pressures others put on us, and then we call it the burden the Lord gave us. But God has said He did not lay that crushing weight on you. If what you are carrying feels like it is grinding you down without relief, it is a sign to pause and ask whether it is truly from Him. His yoke is easy and His burden is light, not because life has no hard work, but because He carries it with you and does not ask you to do it in your own power alone.

That is why Scripture says to cast your burden on the Lord and He will sustain you, as in Psalm 55, and to cast all your cares on Him because He cares for you, as in 1 Peter 5. Casting does not mean pretending the problems are not real. It means deliberately turning them over to Him in prayer, naming before Him the needs for provision, for rest, for strength for those who depend on you, and asking Him to carry what you cannot. When we turn our attention from the weight itself to the greatness and mercy of God, confidence and peace begin to return.

Despair often grows out of hopelessness, the sense that there is no way out. You can think yourself deeper into that pit, and you can also, by God's grace, set your mind on Him and find hope again. The prophet Jeremiah, in Lamentations 3, was at the lowest point, yet he said, This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope. It is because of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions never fail. They are new every morning. Great is His faithfulness. Remembering who God is, that He hears, that He is merciful, that He is faithful morning after morning, can lift the heart from hopelessness to hope.

There are seasons when God allows us to come to the end of our own efforts so we stop trying to deliver ourselves and instead cry out, Who will deliver me. That cry, as Paul voiced in Romans 7, is not the end but the doorway to discovering that deliverance comes through Jesus Christ. Surrender in this sense does not mean giving up on life. It means giving up on carrying everything alone and surrendering the burden to Jesus, asking Him to make His presence known, to show you the next step, and to give you His rest and goodness day by day.

You asked God to show you what to do. Here are simple steps to take before the Lord right now. Tell Him plainly, as you already have, that you are weary and need Him. Ask Him to take the heavy weight you have been trying to bear and to teach you to walk with His lighter yoke. Recall to your mind His mercies that are new every morning, even small evidences of His care. And bring other people into this burden with you, so you are not isolated. Continued prayer, honest conversation with a trusted believer, and practical help for your daily needs are all part of how God sustains you.

You are not forgotten. God hears your prayer. He invites you to come to Him for rest, not to be taken away, but to be held and renewed so you can live for Him.

I will pray for you. Lord Jesus, thank You that You see this dear one and hear this prayer. You know the pressure of provision and the weight of caring for others with no rest. I ask You to reveal Your presence and Your goodness in a clear way. Lift this heavy burden and give rest to this weary soul. Teach how to cast every care on You and to live to please You, whose yoke is easy and whose burden is light. Renew hope by reminding of Your mercies that are new every morning and Your great faithfulness. Provide for daily needs, provide comfort and support through others, and give a reason to live in You today. Keep this life in Your care and guide each next step. Amen.
