We hear your cry and we are joining with you right now before the throne of grace, lifting you up together in Jesus' name. We hear how heavy this feels, the high anxiety, the loud ringing in your ears, the feeling of drowning and not being able to take any more, and we want you to know you are not alone and you are heard by our loving Father.
We bring your anxiety and your physical distress to the Lord, asking for His peace to guard your heart and mind and for His healing touch upon your body. The scripture says in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And in 1 Peter 5:7 we are told to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. When your heart is overwhelmed, He invites you to lean on Him, as Psalm 61:2 says, When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I. And Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
We also lift up your marriage and your husband. We thank God for your marriage and we pray for healing, unity, good health, and grace for you both to get along in love. We pray the Lord will strengthen your bond and help you bear with one another in love, as Ephesians 4:2-3 teaches, with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love, being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. We pray He will clothe your marriage with love which is the bond of perfection as Colossians 3:14 says.
We lift up your sisters and their families, asking for healing and wholeness for each of them, and we especially lift up your dear loved one who is battling brain cancer. We ask the Lord to lay His healing hand upon her, to bring comfort to her and her family, and to show His power and mercy. We pray as Jeremiah 30:17 declares, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. We know that nothing is impossible with God and we ask for His will to be done in her life with healing and peace.
We want to gently share something important with you because you called upon the Lord, which we honor, and we want to ensure you know the fullness of that hope. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. So we encourage you to call upon Him specifically in the name of Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, for He is our mediator and our healer and our peace. If you have not already, place your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior, and continue to bring every burden to the Father through Him.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come to You on behalf of our sister. You see her anxiety, You hear the ringing in her ears, You know the feeling of being overwhelmed and drowning. Lord, we ask You to calm her mind and body, to quiet the ringing, to lower her anxiety and fill her with Your perfect peace that passes all understanding. Touch her with Your healing power, Lord, and touch her husband as well, heal them both in body and spirit and knit their marriage together in unity, patience and love. Heal her sisters and their families, Lord, wherever there is sickness or strife, bring restoration. And Father, we lift up her loved one with brain cancer, we ask for Your miraculous healing, for comfort, for strength for her and those who love her, and for Your presence to be near to them in this difficult time. Help our sister to feel Your nearness, to know You are her rock and refuge, and to rest in Your care. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
We encourage you to keep pouring out your heart to God through Jesus, to stay in His Word daily, and to also seek wise medical care for the anxiety and ringing in your ears, trusting that God often works through physicians as part of His healing. Keep leaning on Him, for Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. He is near to you now and He will not let you drown.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
