We have heard your heart and we are lifting you and your husband up together before the Lord in Jesus' name. We hear how heavy and anxious you feel inside, how nervous you are about flying and the trip, the disappointment about the band you were looking forward to seeing, and the many burdens you carry for your health, your hearing and ringing in your ears, your marriage, your sisters and families and friends, and your dear friend with brain cancer. The Lord sees all of this and He cares deeply for you.
The Word tells us not to carry this anxiety alone. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Also 1 Peter 5:7 says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. And 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. When fear rises about the plane and the trip, we can remember Isaiah 41:10 Fear you not, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And Jesus Himself says in John 14:27 Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives, do I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.
We also notice you cried out many times to Lord, and we love your love for the Lord, yet we want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. So we come boldly to the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, trusting His blood and His righteousness alone, and we encourage you to call upon the name of Jesus Christ specifically as you pray.
We pray together now for you.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You that You love us and that You invite us to cast every care on You. We lift up our sister to You right now, You see the heaviness and anxiety in her heart, the nervousness about flying and the trip, the fear that has been overwhelming her. Lord we ask You to replace her fear with Your perfect peace that passes all understanding, to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Calm her spirit, quiet the racing thoughts, and help her to rest in Your hands, for You are with her on the plane, in the journey, and in every moment. We ask for Your healing touch upon her body, upon the ringing in her ears and her hearing, Lord You are the One who heals us, as Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Touch her ears, restore her hearing, take away the loud ringing, and bring healing to her health and to her husband’s health as well. We pray for a safe trip, for Your protection over every flight and every mile, for a good and refreshing time together that strengthens their marriage. Lord heal and knit their marriage together in love and patience, help them to get along, to speak with kindness and grace to one another, and to honor You in their lifelong covenant as husband and wife. Comfort her disappointment about the band she was looking forward to seeing, and heal her heart in that situation too, reminding her that Your presence is her greatest joy. We also lift up her sisters and families and friends, cover them with Your mercy and healing, and we especially lift up her friend who has brain cancer, Lord we ask for Your miraculous healing, for comfort and strength for her and her family, for wisdom for her doctors, and for Your will to be done, for with You nothing is impossible. We pray Jeremiah 30:17 But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Let Your healing power be known. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to keep bringing every anxious thought to Jesus in prayer the moment it comes, to breathe deeply and speak scripture aloud over yourself, and to remember that the Lord is your keeper wherever you go. Psalm 121:7-8 says Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore. He is with you on the plane as much as He is with you at home. Continue to pray together with your husband, to encourage one another, and to trust the Lord for healing in His perfect timing and way. We are standing with you for peace, for restored hearing, for a safe and joyful trip, and for healing for your friend and loved ones.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
