Good morning

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my sister-in-law, ### who is battling ###. Please pray that she finds peace and finds god

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up ### in prayer as she battles this difficult trial. The Word of God reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We stand in the gap for ###, asking that the Lord’s peace, which transcends all human understanding, would envelop her heart and mind. May she feel His presence in a tangible way, knowing that He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

Father, we also pray that You would draw ### closer to You during this time. If she has not yet placed her trust in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, we ask that You would open her heart to the truth of the Gospel. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that she would come to know Jesus personally, repent of her sins, and receive the gift of eternal life. May she experience the hope and comfort that only comes from a relationship with You.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, despair, or hopelessness that may be trying to take root in her life. We declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Strengthen ### with Your might, and fill her with Your joy and peace as she trusts in You (Romans 15:13). Surround her with godly believers who can encourage her and point her to Your Word. May she find solace in Your promises, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

We also pray for her physical and emotional healing. You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You (Jeremiah 32:27). We ask that You would touch her body and mind, bringing restoration and wholeness. Give her the strength to endure this trial, and let her testimony be a light to others who may be facing similar battles.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would be glorified in ###’s life. May her faith grow stronger through this trial, and may she emerge with a deeper trust in You. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We are holding your sister-in-law before the Lord with you today, and we are thankful you reached out for her. When illness drags on, it can cloud everything, a person's sense of self, their emotional stamina, even their ability to reach toward God. Fear, fragility, and sheer exhaustion often make it hard to pray or to feel any peace at all. That is not a failure of faith; it is the weight of what her body and mind are carrying right now. And because a prolonged illness disrupts the whole family system, we know this weighs on you as well.

One of the most powerful things you are doing right now is simply standing in the gap. There is deep comfort in knowing someone is asking, on our behalf, for the peace that only Christ can give. If she is open to it, sitting quietly with her, without the pressure to say the right things, can be a way God's nearness is felt. Your stable, prayerful presence can remind her she is not abandoned, even when her heart feels numb or far away. If she has not already done so, we would also gently encourage her to keep her medical team fully informed about how she is feeling emotionally, not just about her physical symptoms; they can help address the whole picture.

Lord Jesus, You see our sister-in-law, weary and fighting this illness. Quiet the lonely fears, and let her know You are closer than her own breath, even when she cannot find words. We ask You to steady her spirit and give her the peace that does not depend on circumstances. Grant wisdom and compassion to those providing her care, and give this family strength for each day. In Your name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The peace that your soul craves for her cannot be found apart from the God of Peace Himself. She is battling affliction, but her deeper battle is whether she will be at peace with her Maker. There is a peace which is worse than worthless, a false calm that comes by forgetting God, but the moment He is remembered the heart is troubled. That peace is a writing on the sand, and it cannot stand in the day of trial. What your sister-in-law must find is not mere relief from pain, but reconciliation through the blood of Jesus Christ. He is our peace; He has made peace by the blood of His cross. To know Him is to be justified, and to be justified is to have peace with God. That peace is not a truce but a covenant, sealed by atoning blood, and it brings with it a calm which surpasses all understanding, a stillness on the bosom of Jesus though sorrows surge around.

Pray that she does not rest until she has found Him of whom Moses in the Law and the Prophets did write. If I have found the Lord Jesus Christ, I am reconciled to God; if I have not found Christ, I am still without hope and condemned already. She must not delay. Let her consider that God Himself is the God of Peace who had thoughts of peace toward His people from before the foundation of the world. He justifies, He restores, and He will perfect peace at the last. But that peace is only given to those who come to Him through His Son. Death is the last enemy, but he cannot touch a child of God. Jesus has vanquished death and all its powers. Therefore, may the God of Peace bring her to the blood that whispers peace within, for when a soul is right with God, the stones of the field are in league with you and the beasts of the field at peace.

O Lord and Giver of peace, grant her Your peace and grace to seek You while You may be found. Tear away every false refuge and bring her guilty and trembling to the cross, that she may taste and see that the peace of God is good. May she find peace and, in finding it, find God, even the God of her father, the God of the covenant, the God who raised Jesus from the dead. Peace, perfect peace; with sorrows surging round? On Jesus’ bosom nothing but calm is found. Amen.

The illness of one so close to you is a heavy trial, but do not be overwhelmed by sorrow. Our Heavenly Father knows what we need before we ask; He is a Father who does not overlook His children in their extremity. Pray that she finds not merely a fleeting comfort, but the deep and lasting peace which Christ alone can give, the peace He left with us, a peace that passes all understanding. This peace springs from faith, for without faith, love is empty and hope has no anchor.

Encourage her to seek God with a pure conscience, trusting not in her own strength or in any earthly relationship, but resting her hope entirely in His mercy. When a soul finds one to share its sufferings, it is refreshed and gains new breath. Stand with her in this affliction, not only with words, but with a faithful presence, so that through mutual faith you both may be comforted. Let her hold fast to confidence and the rejoicing of hope firm to the end, believing that God who raises the dead is able to bring light out of darkness and life out of seeming defeat.

In her weakness, may she learn that her true salvation lies in repentance and living faith. And you, as you bear her burden, remember that the peace of God, calm and free from turmoil, awaits those who seek Him. So carry this request to the Lord in unwavering hope, for He will surely provide what is needful for her soul.
