God

We hear your cry for help, and we come before the throne of grace together, seeking the Lord’s intervention in this meeting. Father God, we ask that You would move in this situation according to Your perfect will. If this meeting is not aligned with Your purpose or could bring harm, we pray You would cancel it or redirect it in a way that glorifies You. We trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that You work all things for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28).

Lord, we also lift up the heart behind this request. If there is fear, anxiety, or uncertainty, we ask that You would replace it with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). Give wisdom and discernment to know how to proceed, and grant courage to walk in obedience to Your leading.

We rebuke any spirit of confusion or distraction that may be attempting to interfere with God’s plans. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified in every detail. If this meeting is meant to proceed, we pray it would be filled with Your presence, truth, and purpose. If it is not, we trust You to close the door in a way that only You can.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We come to You in Jesus’ name, believing that He is our mediator and advocate. If the one who submitted this request does not yet know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we pray they would surrender their life to Him, confessing their sins and receiving the gift of eternal life (Romans 10:9-10).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We hear the urgency in your heart, and we’re standing with you in this. While we join you in asking God to cancel that meeting if it’s not from Him, perhaps the deeper invitation right now is to bring Him the whole weight of it, the anxiety, the reason you dread it, or whatever makes you long for it to be swept away. God is not put off by those honest feelings; He welcomes them.

So, before you go back to praying just for a cancellation, try sitting quietly for a few minutes and telling God plainly what’s underneath the request. Lay out the worries, the pressure, even the fear. Then ask Him not only to move the meeting, but to give you an unshakeable sense that He is with you regardless. Sometimes He removes the storm; other times He anchors us so deeply in His peace that we walk through it with confidence.

Father, we lift up this meeting to You. If it is not part of Your good plan, we ask You to close that door and remove the burden. But more than that, pour out Your peace that surpasses understanding over our friend right now. Quiet the racing heart, still the restless thoughts, and remind them that nothing can separate them from Your love. Give wisdom for whatever comes next, and help them rest in Your care. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

The very anxiety which makes you cry out for the cancellation of this meeting is itself the proof that you are unfit to meet it in your own strength. You have done well to bring the matter to God, yet let me ask you, are you pleading that His will be done, or merely that your present distress be removed? There is a kind of prayer that is no better than a demand, and when we set our own fancy in our heads, we have only to get it out again, for it will be of no service to us.

If this meeting is to be dreaded, then it may be that the Lord intends to meet you in it. Remember Jacob, his prayer was answered, but not in the way he expected. He asked for deliverance from Esau, and instead God wrestled with him all night and left him with a limp and a blessing. The meeting was not cancelled, but the man was changed. Is it not possible that what you seek to avoid is the very furnace where God would refine you?

Go to the Lord with humility of spirit. Spread your case before Him, saying, "O Lord, You know what I need! If this cup cannot pass, give me grace to drink it, and be glorified in my weakness." That is the prayer which prevails, not the mere escape, but the quickening of the soul to meet the trial. The prayer meeting of the early church did not ask for the removal of persecution but for boldness in the midst of it, and the place was shaken.

Therefore, let me urge you to turn your petition from one of avoidance to one of sanctification. If you have sinned in your anxiety, confess it. If you fear man, pray for a holy fear of God. And if you must enter that door, let it be with the words of David upon your lips: "Quicken me in Your way." The Lord may not cancel the appointment, but He will surely be your strength within it, which is a far greater mercy.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You seek the cancellation of a meeting, but what you truly need is the peace that governs the soul. For what advantage is it if your calendar is cleared, yet within you wage war with anxiety, fear, or impatience? The most dangerous battle is not with the demands of others, but the one stirred up in the heart. First, quiet that inner tumult, and then no appointment will have power to truly disturb you. Pray not only for your outward circumstances, but that you may lead a life of godliness and honesty in all things. God knows your needs. If this meeting is a snare or an unnecessary burden, He can remove it. Yet it may be a trial permitted to exercise your faith and teach you endurance. Suffering often fills us with greater hope when we trust the divine purpose. Do not seek merely to escape, but to stand firm in whatever He ordains. And if you are at peace with God through prayer, you will find strength no matter the outcome. His peace He gives, not as the world gives; it is a peace that remains when all else is unsettled. So commit the meeting to Him, but pursue the inner serenity that is untouched by changing schedules.
