We have heard your cry for your older daughter and we join you in prayer for her freedom, protection, restoration and healing. Your declaration is true and biblical. She belongs to the Lord. He claims her as His own daughter, and He is able to keep her with all of His power. We stand with you asking that Jesus would open her eyes, her mind, her heart and her spirit to see clearly.

God desires a close, loving relationship with each of His children, not a cold ritual or rule keeping. He invites us to know Him as Father. When that primary relationship with Him is right, every other relationship begins to come into balance. When it is broken or neglected, other relationships become confused and harmful. Sin always separates us from God, and it brings division, isolation, chaos and exhaustion into our lives and homes. What you are describing, the financial hardship, the spiritual heaviness, the disrespect and the draining of her peace and purpose, are the fruit of a relationship that is outside of God's design.

Scripture teaches that marriage is a covenant before God between one man and one woman for life. Living together outside of that covenant is not marriage, no matter how it is presented. It does not carry the commitment, the protection or the blessing of marriage. And a relationship marked by greed, laziness, control, dishonesty and manipulation is not love. Love does not exploit or use another for selfish gain or take authority that God has not given. We do not ask God to bless what He has called outside of His will. Instead we ask Him to bring conviction, clarity and deliverance, so she can see the difference between being loved and being used, between a shepherd heart and a wolf in sheep's clothing.

The Bible shows how entanglements that are not of God create jealousy, rivalry and strife, and how a polluted environment can touch and wound a family. It also shows that God knows how to deliver the righteous. As He delivered Lot when he was vexed by the life around him, He is able to deliver your daughter. His call is still, come out from among them and be separate, touch not the unclean thing, and I will be a Father to you and you shall be My sons and daughters. To love the world and its ways is to lose the love of the Father, but to return to Him is to find mercy.

We pray with you that God will flood her mind with supernatural clarity, that she will stop looking to ungodly counsel and to those who guide her to stay in this arrangement, and that she will remember the biblical values she was raised with. We pray she will no longer idolize or put this young man or his family before her faith, her family and the purpose God has given her through her work. May she hear the Lord whispering to trust Him and to trust the family He gave her, believing that He will provide, protect and restore what has been taken.

We ask the Lord to gently lead her to step away swiftly and completely, without regret, and to bring her back into fellowship with her family. We pray for the restoration of her faith, her freedom, her self worth, her peace and her joy, and for the healing of unity in your home. May He fill each of you with His Holy Spirit in every part of your lives, saturating you with His peace, love, favor, protection and healing, and drawing you back to that first love where you are excited about Him, hungry for His Word and close in communion with Him.

Father, in the name of Jesus we bring this daughter before You. You know her by name. She is Yours. Open her eyes to see this relationship as it truly is. Break the hold of control and exploitation. Guard her finances, her body, her mind and her spirit. Release her from this ungodly living arrangement and give her courage and wisdom to walk away. Restore what has been stolen and let her find her identity, her worth and her purpose in You alone. Heal this family, bring unity where there has been division, and let Your peace rule in their home. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our salvation and hope. Amen.
