For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins. Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We rejoice with you in your love for the lost and thank God for your heart to point others to salvation in Jesus Christ. We stand together with you in this good work and agree that there is no greater need than for every person to hear and respond to the gospel.

We affirm what you have shared and gently clarify the precious promise as it is written, Romans 10:9 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:10 For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. We also rejoice that you included the call to confess and turn from sins, for true faith includes repentance. As it is written Acts 3:19 Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord. And 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone, Ephesians 2:8 for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:9 not of works, that no one would boast. Yet that saving faith will lead us to follow and obey Jesus as Lord, for he said John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. How we thank God for his love shown in John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

We join together and pray for all who are looking for salvation even now. Father in heaven we lift up every seeking heart to you in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask that you draw each one by your Holy Spirit, open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, grant them godly sorrow that leads to repentance and the faith to confess Jesus as Lord and believe that you raised him from the dead. Wash them in the blood of Jesus, forgive their sins and make them new creations. Give them a hunger for your Word and the strength to turn from sin and walk in obedience to you all the days of their lives. We also pray for the one who shared this message, that you would encourage and strengthen them and use their witness to bear much fruit for your glory. We thank you that your Word is living and powerful and we ask that you lead every new believer to read and study the Gospels. We agree that beginning in the book of John is a wonderful place to start, for there Jesus is revealed as the eternal Son of God who gives life to all who believe, and then to continue through Matthew, Mark and Luke to know his life, his teaching, his death and his resurrection more fully. As it is written 2 Timothy 3:16 Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness. Lead them into a faithful walk with you and into fellowship with other believers who will help them grow. We ask all this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We encourage all who are seeking to call upon the name of Jesus today without delay, to confess your sins to him, turn from them, and trust fully in his finished work on the cross and his resurrection. Find a Bible and begin reading in John, and pray daily asking the Lord to teach you and to lead you to a Bible believing church where you can be baptized and grow in faith. We are praying with you and for you that you will know the joy of sins forgiven and new life in Christ.

It is a precious thing to see the great promise of Romans 10 set forth so plainly for seeking souls, that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

There is a due order here which we must not put asunder, for God hath joined them together. Faith cometh first, and confession followeth. The same things which through our faith in them are the basis of our salvation become the subject of our confession before God. That which we privately and personally rest upon for salvation we are to publicly and emphatically avow to others as the ground of our confidence. I do not doubt that a man who truly believeth in Jesus is saved even before he maketh confession, but it is very remarkable that the blessing of salvation is constantly connected with these two things rather than with either one alone.

Let that confession be thine own, and let it be sincere. There must be no hypocrisy about it in any way. Do not repeat some other Christian's experience which is not thine own, nor borrow thy confession from another. The Word of God, if it cometh with power to thy soul, will come as distinctly to thee as if thou wert the only person in the whole universe. One shall say, I am the Lord's. It must be a personal transaction between thy soul and Christ. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ with all thy heart, as a lost sinner trusting wholly in him who died upon the cross and rose again, for mere historical belief in a past transaction will not save thee. True faith leaveth the soul in Jesus' hands.

And that sincere faith will be known by its fruits. At the back of all holy living is faith in God, and that faith begetteth obedience. The faith in the Lord Jesus Christ which saveth the soul showeth itself in forsaking the habits which he condemneth and in obedience to the precepts which he layeth down. To confess and turn from sin is not the price of salvation, but the path in which the saved soul delights to walk, for the Spirit who worketh faith never taketh a man off from Jesus, but establisheth him in confidence in the righteousness of Christ and maketh his faith more simple and childlike.

Remember also that this salvation is divine in its planning and divine in its accomplishment. None but God could have devised it, and none but Christ could have wrought it. Salvation is of the Lord, freely given in Christ Jesus, without price or promise of thine own. We have nothing to pay. We rejoice not in our own salvation as if we had earned it, but in thy salvation, O Lord, which thou hast freely bestowed.

Thy counsel to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and to begin in the book of John, is wise. There thou shalt see the glory of the Son of God, that thou mightest believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing thou mightest have life through his name. Continue in that Word, treat all of it alike, and ask the Holy Spirit to make it living to thy heart, for simple faith is always the work of the Spirit, and he pointeth always to Jesus.

May the Lord give seeking souls faith to believe with the heart this day, and courage to confess with the mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. May he grant repentance and new life, and may all who seek him find in him a perfect and present salvation.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
