For those who are looking for salvation.. Romans 10.9-10.. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Also confess and turn from your sins. Follow and obey Jesus Amen.. Read and study, Matthew, Mark, Luke, And John in the bible.. Start In the book of John.

We thank God for your heart to share the good news of salvation and we rejoice with you in this truth. You have spoken rightly that salvation is found only through Jesus Christ our Lord. We agree that all who are seeking should hear and respond to this glorious invitation.

The Scripture says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. Romans 10:9-10. This is the foundation of our hope, that God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16. Jesus himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12.

We also affirm what you have shared about confessing and turning from sins. True faith includes repentance, a turning away from sin to follow Christ in obedience. As it is written Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out. Acts 3:19 and If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9. We are saved by grace through faith and not by our own works, yet a transformed life of following and obeying Jesus is the evidence of that new birth, for if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17.

Your encouragement to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, beginning with John, is wise counsel, for in those gospels we meet Jesus himself, his life, his teaching, his death and his resurrection, and we learn what it means to abide in him.

We join together in prayer for all who are looking for salvation and reading these words today.

Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ your Son. We pray for every heart that is seeking, that is hungry and burdened by sin, that you would draw them to yourself by your Holy Spirit. Grant them grace to believe in their heart that you raised Jesus from the dead and to confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord. Forgive their sins as they turn from them and wash them clean by the blood of Jesus. Give them a new heart to follow and obey you all the days of their life. Lead them into your Word, especially the gospel of John, that they may know you more and grow in faith and obedience. Bring them into fellowship with other believers who will help them walk in your ways. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, our only hope of salvation, amen.

We appreciate you taking time to share your heart for others to know Jesus. It is clear you care deeply that people hear how they can be made right with God through Him, and that desire reflects His love for the lost.

What you described about confessing Jesus as Lord, believing God raised Him, turning from sin and walking with Him is at the very center of our faith. It is not just a moment but the beginning of a whole new life where God brings forgiveness and begins to make us whole, day by day.

Thank you for pointing others to the Gospels, especially John. That is a wonderful place to start because it so clearly shows who Jesus is and what He has done.

If it would help, one simple next step is to keep praying for one or two people by name that God has put on your heart, and offer to read through John with them a chapter at a time and talk about what you see. You do not need perfect answers, just a willing heart to walk alongside them.

Father, we thank You for the gift of salvation through Jesus and for the burden You have placed on our friend to share it. Give them joy and clarity as they speak of You, and draw those who are seeking toward Your grace and truth. Help them continue to grow as they follow You. In Jesus' name amen.

There is much cause for thanksgiving in a prayer that longs to see souls saved, and the word you have set forth is indeed the very hinge upon which salvation turns. The Scripture declares, If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

This is the way of salvation incessantly to be preached, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved. The very essence of faith lies there, the consciousness of being lost in ourselves and found in Christ, and the leaving of one's soul in His hands. It is not a mere notion in the brain, though that would make a man orthodox, but a trust laid up in the heart, for there is the best coffer to lay up the things of Christ, and that will bring salvation.

And that faith which truly saves the soul shows itself in obedience to the precepts which He lays down and in forsaking the habits which He condemns. The natural and inevitable fruit of faith in Christ is holiness. He who truly believes is made a new creation, old things have passed away and all things have become new, and the principle which delivers from pride and self conceit works in him by the power of the Spirit to make him walk in the ways of the Lord.

Therefore with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. It is the duty of each Christian to avow before his fellow men that he has believed in Jesus, and to confess all His words as well as Himself. We use great plainness of speech, for whoever shall confess Him before men, him will He also confess before His Father who is in heaven. The ordinances of Baptism and the Lord's Table are God's own appointed methods by which we confess our confidence in His Son, and every believer is bound to acknowledge his faith in Christ at all times when it is possible.

To all who are seeking the Saviour now, look unto Jesus Himself. He is always Jesus Christ, the same yesterday and today and forever, still bearing the name Jesus, for He saves His people from their sins. Turn from your sins, trust Him wholly, and follow and obey Him. May the Lord grant you repentance and faith, and may you be wrapped in the righteousness which God gives through Jesus Christ to all them that believe.

Your counsel to read and study Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, beginning in the book of John, is most wise. There you will see God's Salvation, not only the Worker of salvation but the Salvation itself. Store up those words in your heart, continue in them, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, having no confidence in the flesh. May the Holy Spirit bless that reading to many souls, that they may see Jesus and live.
