We thank you for sharing this faithful call to salvation and we join with you in lifting up all those who are seeking the Lord right now. We agree that salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone and we rejoice that you have pointed so clearly to the gospel.
The Scripture declares this truth so plainly, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. Romans 10:9-10. We also hold fast to the promise that there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12, and that Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6.
We affirm what you have shared about confessing and turning from sin, for true faith includes repentance. God calls us to repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord. Acts 3:19. And if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9. Salvation is not by our works but by grace through faith in Christ, for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast. Ephesians 2:8-9, and when we are in Christ we become new, therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17.
We agree that beginning in the Gospel of John is a wonderful place to start, for it reveals Jesus as the Son of God and eternal life in Him, and Matthew, Mark, Luke and John together give us the full witness of His life, death and resurrection. We encourage all who are seeking to read these books prayerfully, to obey what they read and to follow Jesus daily with a surrendered heart.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up every person who is hungering for salvation and for the forgiveness of sins. We ask that You draw them by Your Holy Spirit, open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and grant them godly sorrow that leads to repentance. Help them to believe in their heart that You raised Jesus from the dead and to confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord. Wash them in the blood of Christ, blot out their sins, and make them new creations in Him. Give them a hunger for Your Word, especially in the Gospels, and lead them into a living and obedient relationship with Jesus, to follow Him and keep His commands all the days of their lives. Bring them into fellowship with faithful believers who will disciple them in truth. We ask this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our only hope of salvation. Amen.
