FOR FRUITFUL APPOINTMENT WITH SURGEON

Leah B.

Humble Servant of All
In Jesus's name, please pray again that this appointment with TIF surgeon is respectful and productive. Please pray this leads to TIF with hernia repair, and I don’t have to undergo BRAVO, which would be dangerous to my lungs.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this important appointment with the surgeon. Heavenly Father, we ask that You guide every moment of this meeting, granting wisdom and clarity to both the surgeon and the one seeking Your healing touch. May this appointment be respectful, productive, and aligned with Your perfect will, leading to the best possible outcome for their health and well-being.

Father, we pray that if it is Your will, this appointment would result in the TIF procedure with hernia repair, sparing them from the BRAVO test that could pose risks to their lungs. We trust in Your divine protection and provision, knowing that You hold their life in Your hands. "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul" (Psalm 23:1-3a). We claim this promise over their situation, believing that You will restore and renew their strength.

We also ask that You calm any anxiety or fear surrounding this appointment. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). May they walk into this meeting with peace, knowing that You are with them every step of the way.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of confusion, doubt, or fear that may try to hinder this process. We declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18), and we stand firm in the truth that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). May this appointment be a testimony to Your faithfulness and healing power.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises as you prepare for this appointment. Trust in His sovereignty and goodness, knowing that He cares deeply about every detail of your life. Continue to seek Him in prayer, and lean on the support of fellow believers as you walk through this season. May the Lord bless you with His peace and favor as you move forward.

We’re holding you up as you head into this appointment. The waiting and the unknowns can weigh so differently when you’re hoping for a clear path but also worried about a test that could affect your lungs. It’s completely understandable to feel that tightness right now.

We’ve seen again and again how much it steadies people simply to know that others are praying, that you aren’t walking in alone. Before you leave, maybe take sixty seconds to breathe out that tension and remind yourself: the Lord who formed your lungs is already in that room with you, and a whole community is lifting you before Him.

A small, practical thing that sometimes helps is to jot down the questions and concerns that matter most to you, what you need to know about the TIF, the hernia repair, and why avoiding the BRAVO is so important to you. Surgeons tend to respect a patient who comes prepared, and having it written can steady you if the moment feels overwhelming. You deserve to be heard clearly.

Father, thank You that You see this appointment, the surgeon, and every detail of what’s ahead. Calm any racing thoughts and give clear, respectful communication. Grant wisdom to the medical team, and if it’s Your will, guide things toward the TIF with hernia repair without the BRAVO test. Protect these lungs and this body. Most of all, settle Your peace deep, no matter how the day unfolds. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Wait on the Lord: be of good courage and He shall strengthen your heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. No hurt will come of it. Wait upon the Lord! They rail at you. Take care not to rail back. Make no reply to howling wolves. When dogs bark, let them bark, for it is their nature.

Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling...to the only wise God our Savior. He who has undertaken to save you is no mere man and no angel, He is nothing less than the Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient God! Your peril can be averted by His Omnipotent might. The hidden dangers in your pathway all lie unveiled to His all-seeing eyes. So our safety is assured by the fact that we have a God who is able and is as wise as He is able to keep us from falling.

Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. No rest is sweeter than the martyr's rest. Woe unto those who say, "We will go to heaven by night along a secret road, and so avoid the shame of the cross." To catch the spirit of Jesus is the road to rest.

I know of no supposable dangers, no imaginable troubles, no conceivable difficulties through which, and out of which, and beyond which this text will not carry us, if by faith we grasp it, "He has said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you." That soul, though all Hell should endeavor to shake, I'll never, no never, no never forsake!

Sickness and sorrow of themselves are no helps to salvation. Pain and poverty are not Evangelists. Disease and despair are not Apostles. Yet there is no shortness of supply, no illiberality of gift, come as you are! The fountain flows freely and richly for you, who, having nothing in yourselves, are willing to have everything in Christ Jesus! Do not be saying, "There is no hope," for there IS hope!

Thank you for praying 🙏

Your request reminds me of the earnest cries we bring before the Physician of souls and bodies. It is good to ask boldly, for our Lord Himself taught us to pray for our daily bread, and certainly the health of our frame is not excluded from His care. Yet as we ask, let us hold this truth fast: the same long‑suffering God who heals is also the one who sometimes permits a thorn in the flesh, as He did with the blessed Paul, lest we be exalted overmuch or forget our dependence on Him. That thorn became a means of safety, for in weakness His strength is perfected.

Do not, then, let fear of what may come overwhelm the hope that is yours in Christ. Whether the appointed surgeon grants a respectful hearing or the procedure follows a path you dread, remember that it is always “today” while we live, and no danger can separate us from the love of God. The light of His countenance is upon those who cling to Him, and no earthly peril can quench that light. If the BRAVO test or any other matter should still be required, it does not mean He has abandoned you; many a trial that seems grievous becomes a door through which His goodness enters more deeply.

Approach the appointment with prayer and a calm heart. Ask for a fruitful conversation, as you have done, but also prepare your soul to receive whatever He permits. If the physician’s hands are guided to the healing you seek, give thanks. If a different way opens, do not despair; the One who gave His Son for you will not leave you comfortless. He remembers our frame, that we are dust, and He is not an exacting judge who pounces on our frailty, but a Father who draws us to repentance and trust.

Therefore, put away the evil heart of unbelief and the murmuring that can creep in when the body suffers. Lean rather upon the example of those who have chosen hardship for the sake of the Gospel and found true riches in poverty of spirit. Let your soul be fixed on the hope that at the Judgment Seat, it is not a perfect body but a living faith that will speak for you. I pray with you and for you, that the surgeon may be courteous and wise, that the TIF with hernia repair may proceed if it is best, and that your lungs be guarded from harm. But more than this, I pray you may know the peace that passes understanding, whether the answer is escape or endurance, for in either case Christ stands with you, and that is safety indeed.
