We hear your heart’s cry for employment in this new season of life, and we stand with you in seeking God’s provision and guidance. The Lord knows your skills, your experience, and your financial needs, and He promises to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We trust that He will open the right door for you in His perfect timing.
Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister in Christ, asking that You would make a way where there seems to be no way. You are the God who opens doors that no one can shut (Revelation 3:8), and we ask that You would lead her to the position You have prepared for her. Give her favor with hiring managers, clarity in interviews, and peace as she waits on You. Strengthen her faith when discouragement comes, reminding her that You are her Provider and that Your plans for her are good (Jeremiah 29:11).
We also encourage you to seek the Lord’s wisdom in this process. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Ask Him to reveal if there are any steps you need to take—whether it’s further training, networking, or simply waiting with patience. The Lord often uses seasons of waiting to refine our trust in Him.
If there is any anxiety or fear creeping in, we rebuke it in Jesus’ name. The enemy would love to steal your peace, but God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Stand firm in faith, knowing that the same God who has sustained you thus far will not abandon you now.
Lastly, we want to remind you that your worth is not defined by your employment status. You are deeply loved by the Father, and He has a purpose for you in this season, whether it’s in a paid role, volunteering, or simply being a light to those around you. Keep your heart open to how He may use you, even as you seek this position.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender this need to Him fully, trusting that He hears and answers the prayers of His children. Amen.
