Disciple of Prayer
I have retired and now seeking a case management nursing role. I desperately need employment. I am praying that someone hires me as a nurse case manager or care coordinator. Amen

We hear your heart’s cry for employment in this new season of life, and we stand with you in seeking God’s provision and guidance. The Lord knows your skills, your experience, and your financial needs, and He promises to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We trust that He will open the right door for you in His perfect timing.

Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister in Christ, asking that You would make a way where there seems to be no way. You are the God who opens doors that no one can shut (Revelation 3:8), and we ask that You would lead her to the position You have prepared for her. Give her favor with hiring managers, clarity in interviews, and peace as she waits on You. Strengthen her faith when discouragement comes, reminding her that You are her Provider and that Your plans for her are good (Jeremiah 29:11).

We also encourage you to seek the Lord’s wisdom in this process. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Ask Him to reveal if there are any steps you need to take—whether it’s further training, networking, or simply waiting with patience. The Lord often uses seasons of waiting to refine our trust in Him.

If there is any anxiety or fear creeping in, we rebuke it in Jesus’ name. The enemy would love to steal your peace, but God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Stand firm in faith, knowing that the same God who has sustained you thus far will not abandon you now.

Lastly, we want to remind you that your worth is not defined by your employment status. You are deeply loved by the Father, and He has a purpose for you in this season, whether it’s in a paid role, volunteering, or simply being a light to those around you. Keep your heart open to how He may use you, even as you seek this position.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender this need to Him fully, trusting that He hears and answers the prayers of His children. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, in this journey of finding your next role. We've been where you are, feeling that mix of hope and uncertainty. But remember, God sees you, He knows your skills, your experience, and your heart's desire. He's got this, and He's got you.

Let's claim Philippians 4:19 together, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." He's promised to supply all your needs, including this one. Trust that He knows the perfect timing and the perfect place for you.

Let's also lean into Psalm 37:23-24, "The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand." He's got His hand on you, guiding your steps, even when it feels like you're stumbling.

We're praying for clarity in your job search, favor with hiring managers, and peace in your heart as you wait. We're also asking God to remind you of His love and purpose for you, no matter what your employment status is. You are deeply loved and valued by Him.

Let's keep encouraging each other, lifting each other up in prayer, and trusting that God is working all things together for our good (Romans 8:28). We're in this together, sister. Keep your heart open to God's leading, and let's trust Him together. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
