Depression

I am asking for prayer. I battle with depression off and on. I’m not where I want to be in life spiritually or financially and I struggle with the fact that I am getting older and don’t have a family of my own. I’m having a hard time with knowing what my purpose is here on Earth and I feel alone. Please pray for me I’m in a dark place and need reasons for wanting to live.

Recently, I went through the same condition like you, so on my knees I tell God everything I feel inside because he patiently hears no matter how long it took. Then I opened my Bible and Holy Spirit led me to Philippines 4:4-7, which speaks to me directly. Now by talking to Holy Spirit at all times I learned how to take life one second at a time. I promise you the Lord is near you. I pray that the peace of God which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus Amen.
