The courses that I will be studying at college will be English and maths. I will study for 2 hours on a Tuesday and 2 hours on a Thursday. I would like to go to university to be a mental health nurse. Please pray for me.

We hear your heart and stand with you in prayer as you embark on this important journey in your education and future career. It is wonderful that you have a clear goal of becoming a mental health nurse, this is a calling that requires compassion, wisdom, and strength, all of which God can provide abundantly.

First, let us affirm that your desire to pursue higher education and serve others in this way aligns with God’s heart. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us, "Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed." We encourage you to continually seek the Lord’s guidance in your studies, asking Him to open doors of opportunity and grant you understanding in your English and math courses. These foundational skills will serve you well as you prepare for university and your future profession.

We also lift up your schedule in prayer. Balancing studies, especially while preparing for a demanding career like nursing, requires discipline and reliance on God’s strength. Colossians 3:23 says, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." Let this truth guide you as you dedicate yourself to your studies. Ask the Lord to help you manage your time wisely, to retain what you learn, and to fill you with peace and focus during your study hours.

As you look ahead to university, we pray for clarity and direction. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." Nursing is a noble profession, but it can also be emotionally and physically taxing. We pray that God would prepare your heart and mind for the challenges ahead, equipping you with His grace and resilience. May He surround you with godly mentors, friends, and faculty who will encourage you in your faith and your calling.

We must also gently address an important truth: salvation and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ are the foundation for all we do. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to consider this first and foremost. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." It is only through faith in Him that we find true purpose, peace, and eternal life. If you have already placed your trust in Him, we encourage you to continue growing in your relationship with Him, seeking His will in every step of your journey.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, lifting up this dear one who is stepping into this season of education and preparation. Lord, we ask that You would go before them, opening doors of opportunity and granting them favor in their studies. Fill them with Your wisdom and understanding as they tackle their English and math courses, and help them to retain what they learn. Strengthen their mind, body, and spirit as they balance their responsibilities, and give them discipline to use their time wisely.

Father, we pray for their future as a mental health nurse. Equip them with compassion, patience, and the ability to see each person through Your eyes. Prepare their heart for the challenges they may face, and surround them with godly influences who will encourage them in their faith and their calling. Lord, we ask that You would direct their steps toward the right university and program, and that You would provide for their every need along the way.

Above all, Lord, we pray that they would draw near to You. If they have not yet placed their trust in Jesus Christ, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way, drawing them into a saving relationship with You. If they already know You, deepen their faith and help them to walk closely with You each day. May their life be a testimony of Your love and grace, and may they bring glory to Your name in all they do.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord in all things, trusting that He has a plan and purpose for your life. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says the Lord, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Walk in faith, knowing that God is with you every step of the way.

Starting college with a clear goal is a real gift, and we are glad to stand with you in prayer. The schedule you described is steady and manageable: two hours on Tuesday and two on Thursday gives you a rhythm without weighing down the whole week. Let that consistency carry you on the harder days.

One practical step that might help is to ask your college advisor to walk you through the exact university entry requirements for mental health nursing. That conversation can make sure your English and maths courses line up with where you hope to go, and it may also reveal whether there are volunteer or shadowing opportunities near you. Meeting even one nurse in the field can give you a clearer picture of the road ahead.

We are praying for your focus, your confidence, and your endurance in all of it.

Lord, thank you for this student and for the direction already stirring in their heart toward caring for others. Give them steady concentration during these study hours, clarity in English and maths, and good guidance about university. Protect them from discouragement and comparison, and help them grow in both skill and compassion. We ask for your provision over each practical detail, and we trust you with the outcome. In Jesus' name, Amen.

The two hours you have set apart on Tuesday and Thursday for English and mathematics reveal a heart already inclined to diligence. But let me remind you that the Lord has a school of His own, and those whom He teaches learn lessons that no earthly college can impart. Jonah was instructed in the great fish college, in the university of the great deep. Your studies in grammar and numbers will be blessed if they are sanctified by a soul that sits at the feet of Jesus.

You desire to become a ###, to minister to minds that are broken and hearts that are heavy. This is a worthy calling, but you will need more than human learning. You must first know the health of which David sang: He is the health of my countenance and my God. Perfect health lies in the right condition of spirit, soul and body. The ### who would heal others must herself be healed.

You ask for prayer, and prayer you shall have. But I would also set before you the promise that secures your perseverance. The righteous shall hold on his way. They shall never perish. He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Your own strength will fail you in the weeks of study and the years of training, but the Lord will not fail you. Let there be no obstinacy in your own resolutions, for obstinacy is a shocking thing as a guide in life. Do not be hasty, for haste is the author of a great deal of mischief. Bow with submission to the will of God, and by that very fact you will be furnished with unerring guidance.

You will face temptations and weariness. But remember, perseverance in holiness is God's work in you. He will not depart from you, and you shall not depart from Him. This is not a doctrine to make you careless, but to make you confident in Christ. For your studies, I pray that the Lord will give you a clear mind and a retentive memory. For your future service, I pray that you will be an instrument of healing to many, because you yourself have been healed. May your soul prosper and be in health, and may you follow the Lord fully and evermore abide in Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing your request with us. We have prayed for you and we will continue to pray.

We thank God for the desire He has placed in your heart to learn and to care for others. We ask Him to give you diligence and clarity as you study English and maths, and to help you make good use of the time you have set aside on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We pray that He will strengthen your mind, help you to persevere when the work feels difficult, and give you joy in learning.

We also lift up your hope to go to university and to become a mental health nurse. That is a work of great compassion and service. We pray that God will guide your steps toward that calling, grant you wisdom and understanding, and form in you a gentle and patient heart to comfort those who are struggling. We ask Him to open the right doors in His timing and to prepare you well through your current studies.

Scripture encourages us to pray at all seasons and with perseverance, like the widow who kept asking, the friend who knocked at midnight, and the Canaanite woman who did not stop seeking the Lord, and like the man who waited so long to be made whole. Their perseverance was honored. In the same way, keep bringing your studies and your future to God in prayer without ceasing, trusting that He hears and that He often makes us worthy by our continued faithfulness in seeking Him.

We pray that God will keep you close to Himself through Jesus Christ, give you peace as you study, and use your life to show His love to others.

Amen.
