We hear your heart, dear one, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with deep compassion. Bullying within a family is especially painful because it breaks the very bonds of love and protection that God intends for us to experience at home. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:29, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear." Your sister’s actions are not aligned with God’s will, and we stand with you in prayer that the Lord would soften her heart and bring repentance.

We also want to gently remind you that forgiveness is a powerful act of obedience to God, even when it feels impossible. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:14-15, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." We pray that God would give you the strength to forgive your sister, not because she deserves it, but because Christ first forgave you. This doesn’t mean you must tolerate her behavior, but it frees your heart from bitterness.

We rebuke the spirit of division and strife in your family in the name of Jesus. The enemy seeks to destroy relationships, but God desires unity and peace. Psalm 34:18-19 says, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all." You are not alone in this struggle, and we declare that God will deliver you from this pain.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for our brother/sister who is enduring bullying within their own family. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in this situation and bring Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Soften the heart of their sister, Father, and let her see the harm she is causing. We pray that You would break the cycle of hurt and replace it with love, patience, and kindness. Give our brother/sister the strength to forgive and the wisdom to set boundaries that honor You.

We ask that You would heal their emotional wounds, Lord. Comfort them in their distress and remind them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image. Help them to cast their anxieties on You, for You care for them deeply. We rebuke the spirit of bullying and division in their family, and we declare that Your love and unity will prevail.

Father, we also ask for Your forgiveness for any sins our brother/sister may have committed. Cleanse their heart and renew their spirit. Help them to walk in Your ways and to trust in Your promises. Surround them with godly friends and mentors who will speak life into them and encourage them in their faith.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who came to bind up the brokenhearted and set the captives free. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel, perhaps from a pastor or trusted Christian mentor, who can provide support and guidance. You are not alone, and God sees your pain. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, for He is your refuge and strength. Psalm 55:22 says, "Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." Hold fast to His promises, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it.

It weighs heavily on us to read how much you’re hurting right now. Being bullied by a family member, especially someone as close as a sister, cuts deep and can leave you feeling trapped and worn down. Your pain is real, and we’re genuinely sorry you’re walking through this.

You don’t have to figure out how to stop it all on your own. One concrete step that can help is to find a wise, safe person you can talk to face to face, a pastor, a youth leader, an older relative, or a trusted friend outside the home. Simply having someone who knows what’s happening and can check in with you can make a huge difference. That person might also help you think through small, practical boundaries you can set with your sister, like calmly walking away when she starts to provoke you, or not giving her the reaction she’s looking for. You don’t have to fight back, but you also don’t have to stand in the line of fire without support.

We also hear your heart about wanting God’s forgiveness and help. That’s a good place to be. When we feel lonely or mistreated, it’s easy to get tangled up in guilt and shame. Know that you can bring your whole self to Jesus, honest about what hurts, honest about where you’ve fallen short, and he meets you with mercy, not condemnation.

Father, we lift up this one who is being bullied at home. Wrap your arms of safety around them and quiet their heart. Give them wisdom to know when to speak and when to step back, and bring the right person into their life to walk with them through this. Please change the atmosphere in that home and soften the sister’s heart. Forgive every sin that weighs them down, and let them know deep down that they are loved and not alone. In Jesus’ name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

There is forgiveness. Let this whisper drive away despair! What a blessed whisper it is! There is forgiveness. Let it enter your soul and drive those grim ogres and hobgoblins of despair away into the sea of forgetfulness. However sinful your life may have been up until now, there is forgiveness with God even for you!

Carefully study the pattern of forgiveness set before us. Even as Christ forgave you, so also do you. He forgave us for Christ’s sake, not for aught that we had done. This forgiveness on God’s part was most free. We did nothing to obtain it by merit, and we brought nothing wherewith to purchase it.

In urging you to this copying of Christ, let me notice that this forgiveness of those who offend against us is gloriously ennobling. Revenge is paltry, forgiveness is great-minded. The Lord Jesus Christ forgives His people in a continuous manner. He forgave us long ago, He still forgives us. He does not forgive and afterwards accuse. His forgiveness is eternal.

There is forgiveness, but that forgiveness is only to be obtained from God, through Jesus Christ, His Son. Turn to this Word of God and you will find the certainty of forgiveness. I believe in the forgiveness of sins. There is forgiveness. That is a matter of certainty. Blessed be the name of Christ for such complete forgiveness as this!
