Disciple of Prayer
Hi please pray for ###. She's in the hospital. She's single. She could lose her home. She is sickly. She needs a miracle. Basically. 🙏

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up in prayer. Father God, we know that You see her in her hospital bed, You know the weight of her burdens, and You are near to the brokenhearted. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon her. Strengthen her body, calm her spirit, and restore her to full health according to Your will.

We also bring before You her concerns about losing her home. In Proverbs 3:5-6, we are reminded, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." Father, we ask that You provide for her needs in ways that only You can. Open doors of provision, surround her with godly support, and give her peace that surpasses all understanding as she trusts in You.

Lord, we pray for a miracle in her life, not just for healing, but for Your glory to be revealed in every circumstance. You are the God who parts the seas, raises the dead, and heals the sick. We stand on Your promises, believing that nothing is impossible for You. In Jeremiah 32:27, You declare, "Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?"

We also want to gently encourage to draw near to You, Lord, if she hasn’t already. Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father, and it is through His name that we have access to Your throne of grace. In John 14:6, Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." If she does not yet know You as her Savior, we pray that she would surrender her life to You, receive Your forgiveness, and walk in the hope that only You can provide.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that may be trying to take hold of her. We declare that she is not alone, for You are with her. We speak life, peace, and restoration over her situation. In the name of Jesus, we command every attack of the enemy to be broken, and we declare Your victory over her life.

Lord, we ask that You would also prepare her heart for the future. If it is Your will, we pray that You would bring a godly spouse into her life, a man who loves You first and who will cherish and support her in a marriage that honors You. But above all, we pray that she would find her ultimate fulfillment in You, knowing that You are her provider, her healer, and her hope.

We trust You, Lord, to move mightily on her behalf. May she experience Your love, Your power, and Your faithfulness in ways that draw her closer to You. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We are holding ### up in prayer with you, and we can only imagine how heavy this all feels, especially while she is so ill. When sickness drags on, it’s not just the body that suffers; it can eat away at hope, make the future look frightening, and leave a person feeling utterly fragile. Losing her home on top of that is a crushing weight. It makes sense that you are asking for a miracle. We’re asking for one too.

Sometimes a long illness convinces us that nothing will ever change. But even in that fog, we know the Lord hasn’t lost sight of ###. You mentioned she is single, which makes everything harder because there’s no built-in partner to carry the load. It may be that right now, the most tangible help you can offer is to be her voice, to make sure the hospital social worker or discharge planner knows her housing situation is precarious. Hospitals often have resources to help patients facing homelessness, but someone has to speak up. If you’re able, just sitting with her, helping her sort through those next steps a little at a time, can be a steadying gift. You don’t need to have all the answers; your steady presence alone can push back against the isolation.

We’re praying that God would strengthen her body, ease her fear, and make a way through this tangle of medical and financial stress. We ask for practical mercy: a safe place for her to recover, compassionate caregivers, and clarity about each next step. And we ask for her spirit, that even in this valley, she would sense the Lord holding her steady, not letting go. Please keep us posted as you’re able.

Father, in Jesus’ name, draw close to ### in that hospital room. Sustain her when she feels she has no strength left. Give her and those who love her wisdom about her home and her care. Provide what she needs, and let her know she is not forgotten. Amen.

This prayer request speaks of a condition that would break any heart, a sickly frame, a solitary state, the dread of losing the only shelter from the wind and storm. In this pressing hour, we see a soul brought into the deeps of loneliness and affliction, and it is precisely here that the Gospel shines with the tenderest light. Consider the patients and their sickness in Christ’s great hospital, as we are told, “He healeth the broken in heart.” She is broken in heart, and her sorrow is not hidden from Him. It is a sore trial when sickness of body is married to poverty of estate, and the soul is left to fight for very existence, crying out for a miracle from the Lord.

The great Miracle Worker delights to reveal His power where human aid utterly fails. The astounding truth is that the power of Christ to save, to rescue, to uphold, to deliver, does not lie in the person saved; it lies wholly in Jesus Himself. This is our comfort when we cannot see how the rent will be paid or the strength restored. Remember that when our Savior stood at His loneliest, forsaken by all, He declared, “I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.” That same presence is the portion of every trembling believer. His loneliness has sanctified your sister’s solitude, and His might is made perfect in her weakness. Though she feels herself to be a mass of infirmities, yet a Christian is a miracle, a mass of miracles, and her story is not yet finished.

Do not look at the five small loaves of her scant resources and ask, “What are these among so many?” Christ is grand in emergencies, and He displays His power spontaneously, without needing our pressing or prompting. He who healed all sorts of sickness with a word can speak peace to her troubled heart and raise up friends to steady her habitation. The objective of the miracle is to reveal His authority, and sometimes He permits the night to grow very dark so that the morning star of His deliverance may shine all the brighter. Let her trust not in any imagined goodness of her own, but in the love that draws the soul up from the pit of corruption. What a miracle is here, that love loved her into faith, and at the foot of the Cross we hope.

Cry to Him who fastens up the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds. He can heal the sickness of unbelief and the sickness of the body with equal ease, for nobody can work this mighty miracle of mercy but the Lord Jesus Christ, yet He can do it more swiftly than I can speak of it. In Christ’s hospital, there never was a patient turned out as incurable. I join my faith with yours and ask that the Lord would manifest His Omnipotent force in this household, that she would not lose her home, that health would revisit her frame, and that in this lonely hour she would find the Father with her. So let it be, for Jesus’ sake.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

I will bring her before the throne of God without ceasing, and I ask the whole congregation to join in this supplication. The woman in the hospital has no husband to share the burden, her body is worn down, and she is afraid of losing the roof over her head. That is a heavy load for one soul.

We will pray for her healing, for good physicians, for the means to keep her home, and for peace that does not depend on circumstances. But I must also tell you plainly: do not imagine that God is idle unless He sends a visible miracle. He often does a greater work by making a weak person strong in faith, patient in suffering, and unashamed to be cared for by the church. The Lord healed bodies to draw people to the healing of the soul. Let us ask for both, but let the soul’s healing be what you seek most earnestly.

See that she is not alone. Visit her. Help with the practical things that are about to crush her. If the church is truly the body of Christ, her loss of a home becomes our concern, and her hospital bed becomes a place where the people of God keep watch. I will pray that God sustains her, relieves her pain, preserves her dwelling, and, above all, grants her the miracle of a trusting heart until deliverance comes.

I am praying for this woman in the hospital, asking the Lord to be her help and her refuge. She is facing illness, the threat of losing her home, and the loneliness of walking through it without a spouse. None of that is too much for Jesus. The woman who had bled for twelve years had no human answer left, yet she reached for the hem of his garment and was made whole. Jesus did not turn her away. He called her to be of good cheer and told her that her faith had made her well. There is no fixed pattern for how God works. He may heal through medicine, provide through an unexpected source, or give strength to endure, but he is near.

The Lord is also the one who provided for the widow who came to Elisha with creditors at the door. She had almost nothing, but God multiplied what she had and met the need. I ask him to do that kind of provision here, to preserve her home or give her a safe place, and to restore her health. Her singleness does not mean she is forgotten. In the Lord she is not without value and not without care.

Father, in Jesus' name please help her. Give the doctors wisdom, give her body strength, and take away the fear of losing her home. Provide for every practical need. Above all, let her know Jesus himself as her peace and her portion. The greatest miracle is the forgiveness of sins and the presence of God, and that is open to her now. In Jesus' name, amen.
