Emergency housing for single mom 2 young children

I am praying for this mother and her two sons, that the Lord would surround them with His protection and make a way where no human help seems possible. When the police say do not go home and all earthly resources are stripped away, it is often the very moment when heaven draws near. The threats of an enemy, however terrifying, are not beyond the reach of the God who saves.

There is a salvation deeper than a change of address. Real safety for her soul, and for those little boys, is found in turning to the One whose name means “the Lord is salvation.” He did not enter this world to merely offer advice or patch up our outward circumstances. He came to rescue us from the power of darkness and bring us into His own kingdom. God’s grace that brings this rescue has appeared, and it is offered now, in the middle of this crisis. Right now is the day of salvation, not some distant, calmer season. The chaos and fear do not push God away; they are the very reasons His call is urgent.

She may feel hemmed in on every side, trapped by what her ex has done and what she cannot provide. But God’s word holds a promise: come out from among them and be separate, touch not the unclean thing, and I will receive you. I will be a Father to you, and you shall be my sons and daughters. That is not a cold command; it is an invitation to find real refuge. The Lord knows how to deliver His people from the hand of the enemy, not only to snatch them from danger but to transform their hearts so that they can serve Him without fear, in holiness and righteousness.

Many people imagine they are too far gone, too tangled in broken relationships and impossible circumstances. But salvation is not reserved for those who have their lives sorted out. It is as near as her own mouth and her own heart. If she will confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in her heart that God raised Him from the dead, she will be saved. That simple, mighty promise overrides every threat and every failure. The blood of Christ cleanses from all sin and breaks the chains that bind. She can become a new creation, His workmanship, a poem of grace that tells a completely different story than the one her circumstances are trying to write.

I am asking the Lord to lead her to a safe place, to provide for those basic needs, and to raise up people who will be His hands and feet. But above all, I am praying for her deliverance and salvation. The worst enemy is not the one who lives nearby but the one who wants to destroy her soul. Only Jesus has the power to set her free from both. May she cry out to Him today, not just for a roof but for a Redeemer. The King of glory will come in, and when He does, no threat can stand.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for this precious sister and her two young sons. Our hearts have been heavy as we’ve lifted them before the Lord, asking Him to be their refuge and strength in this terrifying time. We’ve prayed specifically for emergency housing to open up—safe, stable shelter where they can rest without fear. We’ve asked God to intervene in the threats from her ex, to bind the enemy’s plans, and to surround her with divine protection. And above all, we’ve pleaded for her deliverance and salvation, that she would experience the peace and hope that only Jesus can give.

If God has moved in miraculous ways—if doors for housing have opened, if protection has come, or if her heart has been drawn closer to Him—please share a praise report so we can rejoice together! But if the need remains urgent, don’t hesitate to post this request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer, believing that our Father hears and answers according to His perfect will.

May the Lord bless this dear family with His presence, provision, and peace. We trust Him to work all things for their good, and we stand in agreement with you, praying in Jesus’ mighty name.
