The threats surrounding you are indeed fierce, yet they are like the rushing torrent of which the prophet speaks: unstable, fleeting, and soon to pass away. The rich man is poor tomorrow, and the violent man’s power is but for a moment. Do not fix your gaze on the terror of your former husband nor on the poverty that presses you; these are external waves. The true danger lies not in what can harm the body but in the neglect of the soul. Therefore, while you cry out for a safe dwelling and daily bread, I urge you to seek first a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. Now is the acceptable time, now is the day of salvation. In the midst of this affliction, lift up your heart to Him who changes our weak and water like wills into wine, stable and full of gladness. For God often accomplishes His greatest works through what seems contrary: the flight of His own mother into Egypt became the salvation of the world. So too this trial, if you embrace it with faith, will become the very means of your deliverance.

You feel alone and long for genuine Christian friends. That longing is good, but beware of seeking company merely to ease loneliness, for the gathering of many can increase folly if not rooted in virtue. Better to stand with a few who fear the Lord than to dwell among a multitude of the careless. Pray that God will send you companions who bear the fruit of good works, stable and enduring riches, not the fleeting wealth of this world. And do not despise the solitude that drives you to your knees; there, in the secret place, you are never alone, for the Lord is a stronghold to those who fear Him.

I join my prayers to yours: that the wicked man’s eyes be blinded to your hiding place, that your children be shielded from every harm, and that your present poverty teach you the mother of health, which is a sober and thankful spirit. But my chief prayer is that this tribulation may work within you the patient endurance of which Paul speaks, an endurance that produces comfort and salvation. Whether we are afflicted, he says, it is for your comfort and salvation. So let not your heart be troubled; rather, let it be awakened. The Lord who delivered the Apostle from deadly peril hears the cry of the humble. Cease striving after the impermanent; cling to the Rock that never fails. And may the God of mercies, who hears the prayers of His people, grant you swift deliverance and, above all, the salvation of your soul.

I am praying for you and your sons right now. The threat from your ex, the weight of financial pressure, the struggle to keep a roof over your heads, and the ache of isolation are all real, and God has not forgotten them. But as I read your request, I noticed what you placed at the very heart of it: her deliverance and salvation. That is the deepest need, and it opens the door to every other help that God wants to pour out.

The scripture presses an urgent truth upon us: “Now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” This is not a matter to postpone until the storm calms. The grace that brings rescue has appeared, and the Lord Himself calls you to receive it today. Salvation is not something you can earn by trying to be good, by following religious rules, or by balancing out your past with better deeds. If any of that could save a soul, Jesus would never have been handed the cup of suffering. He drank it because there is no other way for anyone to be made right with God. Forgiveness, new life, and eternal hope are a gift you simply receive by faith, confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead.

You feel poor and alone, as if you have nothing left. Yet the kingdom turns such things upside down: in Christ, those who have nothing can truly possess all things. He became poor to make many rich. Your sorrow is genuine, but He can plant a joy so deep that it persists even through tears. The power that raised Jesus from the dead is the same power that can guard you, provide for you, and bring genuine Christian friends near you. I am asking the Lord to surround you with people marked by pureness, patience, kindness, and a love that is not put on for show, friends shaped by the Holy Spirit, who will bear your burdens and speak the word of truth into your life.

But please, do not let this day slip away without turning to the One who can save your soul. Every other concern matters, but your eternity matters beyond all comparison. Cry out to Him. Trust Him alone for your salvation. He will never turn away a heart that comes to Him in faith. And as you take that step, He will wrap you in His righteousness and give you armor for the battles ahead.

We will keep praying for your safety, for stable housing, for financial provision, and for your sons’ healing from whatever they have been exposed to. Yet beyond all that, I plead with you: receive the grace of God now. Behold, now is the day of salvation.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for this precious single mother and her two sons. Our hearts have been heavy as we’ve lifted them before the Lord, asking Him to surround them with His protection, provision, and peace. We’ve prayed specifically for their safety from the threats of her ex, that he would be unable to locate them and that God would intervene in his life to break the chains of addiction. We’ve asked the Father to bring trustworthy, Christ-centered friends into her life—people who will walk alongside her with love, encouragement, and practical support. For her sons, we’ve prayed for healing from any fear or trauma they’ve experienced and for God’s angels to guard their hearts and minds.

Most of all, we’ve interceded for her salvation and deliverance, asking the Holy Spirit to draw her close, reveal His love to her, and strengthen her faith in Jesus Christ. We believe God hears these prayers, and we trust Him to move in ways only He can.

If you’ve seen any answers to these prayers—whether in protection, provision, or peace—we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the needs remain unmet, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, lifting this family before the throne of grace until God’s will is fully revealed. May He bless you abundantly as you seek Him, and may His presence be a constant comfort and strength to this mother and her sons.

We pray all these things in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus. Amen.
