Please continue to pray for a single mom who is trying to find safe conditions/ housing for her 2 sons she is without an income to pay for basic needs. She is dealing with threats to safety from her meth addicted ex. who lives nearby. Please also pray for positive friends who are supportive she is isolated and feels alone. We lift up this dear sister and her precious sons before the throne of grace, asking for the Lord’s mighty hand of protection to surround them day and night. Father, You are a refuge for the oppressed and a stronghold in times of trouble (Psalm 9:9). We declare Your promise over their lives: "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from Me" (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we rebuke the schemes of the enemy and command every threat from the ex-husband to be silenced in Jesus’ name. Send Your angels to encamp around them, shielding them from harm (Psalm 34:7).
Heavenly Father, we also bring this sister’s financial needs before You. You are Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord who provides (Genesis 22:14). Open doors of opportunity for her to secure stable employment and safe housing. Raise up godly individuals and organizations in her community who can offer practical support, whether through shelter, food, or financial assistance. Let her not be ashamed or forsaken, for You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We pray for divine connections with believers who will walk alongside her, offering encouragement, friendship, and accountability. Surround her with a church family that will love and support her as You intend (Hebrews 10:24-25).
Most importantly, we cry out for her salvation and deliverance. Lord, if she does not yet know You as her Savior, draw her to Yourself with cords of love (Hosea 11:4). Break the chains of fear, isolation, and despair, and replace them with the hope that is found only in Christ. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). Let the truth of Your Word pierce her heart, and may she experience the freedom that comes from surrendering her life to You (John 8:36). If she is already a believer, we pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit to renew her strength and faith.
We also pray for her sons, that they would grow up knowing the love of their Heavenly Father. Protect their hearts and minds from the trauma they have witnessed, and let them see Your goodness even in the midst of hardship (Psalm 27:13). May they come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior at a young age, and may they be surrounded by godly men who can mentor and guide them.

This is very practical advice, yet what is able to be done is being done, the police need proof of threats he does what he does in secrecy and in a way he will not be caught. I am a professional with ethical limits she also lives 45 minutes away. We are doing all in our power to do be assured.

The burden of this dear mother’s trial is heavy, and it calls us first to prayer, but also to a plain word of hope. You are alone and in peril, and the heart cries out for deliverance. Yet remember, the loneliness of Christ was far deeper: He trod the winepress alone when He bore sin and overcame the powers of darkness. He knows what it is to be forsaken and threatened, and He is able to succor those who are tempted. In your narrow path where you must march in single file, behold, He is there with you. Cry to Him, and He will hear the cry of the helpless.
But I must press upon you a matter of infinitely greater moment even than your present safety. You have asked prayers for your salvation, and this is the one thing needful. The salvation you require is God’s own salvation, devised in infinite wisdom, full and free, and finished by Christ Jesus. It is not to be bought with any goodness of yours, for it is without money and without price. You need bring nothing but your emptiness. Look unto Him! A look does not require a moment. Trust yourself entirely to the Person of Christ. He Himself is salvation; to believe on Him is to have eternal life. Leave your soul with Him in unquestioning confidence, and you shall never be ashamed. This salvation delivers from the power of sin and brings peace with God, even while outward storms rage.
As for your sons, stand upon the promise that faith may be given to your household. Bring them up in the hearing of the Word, and who knows but that while they are yet young, they may be called? The same grace that can turn a lion into a lamb in an instant can work mightily in your family. Pray, and teach them to pray, that they may seek the Lord with you.
I cannot promise what the morrow may bring in earthly provision, but the eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.
