Why must we persist? Well, here’s why I persist: Because, when everything God has foretold, to this point, has come to pass; even when the script is flipped, and the scene changes, my faith demands endurance. For as it is written: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. “for all these things must come to pass” Moreover, is this promise (come on Isaiah, PREACH!!!): “So shall my WORD be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” (WORD? yes, all of HIS WORD) Yes, Amen Heavenly FATHER, I give thanks today, and always, that you are not a respecter of man; but...
What a wonderful promise coming out from Jeus heart. When you are in pain due to cancer, due to tooth ache or from a broken heart, then Jesus comes along and tells you down deep in your soul. I am the One who healeth thee. Thank you Jesus, thank you Lord for healing us, cleansing us, and forgiving us all our sins. I lift up my hands in praise to Your blessed name. Your promises are all true. We love You and thank You for everything You have done for us.
FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD
A couple of days ago, a "28-year-old Australian citizen Brenton Harrison Tarrant, was charged with mass murder. He gunned-down at least 50 people. " Authorities found an 87-page manifesto filled with anti-immigrant, anti-Muslim ideas. On February 14, 2018, there was another senseless mass murder where 17 people were killed at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. As a result of the after-math Parkland High School, students became embolden to spoke out about the governments' failure to take gun control legislation serious. Consequently, these young people went even further, "they did something most mature American's have failed to do." Parkland survivors called to lead chose to stand in the gap for all people...
Moses and Elijah is alive and well and both of them appeared with Jesus in the Mountain of Transfiguration. A heavenly vision indeed. A place where our hearts desire to be forever and ever. A place where eternity meets our temporary life on earth. Blessed are Thou o Lord our God who reveals the secrets to those who love You with all their heart, mind and soul. Heaven will be inhearited by everyone who has heaven in his soul.
You know, idolatry isn't just bowing to a stone image. What I see as the central figure of an unsaved persons life is a craving for money, and a desire to get more and more of it,and do all kinds of things they wouldn't normally do for it.This is not my imagination; I hear all the time they, themselves admit this. And because of this attitude, the craving in the flesh for money creates another thing, and so the title of this blog--envy of the rich. Oh I hear them talk,"Look at so and so, they don't have any worries, they have all that money.why them? What about me?"That's why people gravitate towards the politicians who stress the "free giveaways".That's why they moan when someone else wins the lottery, and not them. But are they Biblically...
This is What the Bible Says About Divorce
To fully comprehend, at least as best as we can, we must examine, study and interconnect a multitude of situation-specific Scripture when unanswered spiritual questions loom. One of the most serious issues involving people and Scripture is reciting "bits and pieces of Scripture to support personal beliefs." I would like to add to all of the above, as well as inject a different perspective which is biblically supported. First, divorcee decrees were created for a reason, and according to the Holy Bible, "God ordained at least one reason for divorce as acceptable?" "But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her the victim of adultery, and anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery."...
I think one way the devil misleads is to tell us to "reason it out" so that we can "justify" a sin we've commited.Like, I've heard people in an affair claim,"well, there's more love than between him and his wife, so I'm the better choice.{What they're really saying is,I WANT TO do this,so I'll "justify" it.}I've even seen a few Christians who try to "reason away" sin.One lady I know who, by hearing her talk, she no doubt loves the Lord, quotes accurate verses for different situations, etc.Sings hymns, everything.Yet she knowingly overstayed her visa here, and to go deeper into sin, she's "fishing around" to "stage" a fake marriage to an American, for citizenship, and pay him..{Also, trying to get someone else involved{the American...
A lot of people complain about being stolen by anything they got but the one that hurt more than anything is being stolen your heart. You love someone so much and then they leave you hanging. They left you for another one. You cared for that special one and then they give you the thumps down and go away. You spent your whole life caring for the one that came and then they are gone. Put your trust not in man or a woman. Set your ideas and your desires first on the Lord. He will never ever fail you nor leave you all alone in the world. Watch your thoughts, they become words. If you said. Till death do us part, then follow your own advise. Watch your words, they become actions. Those actions should honor the Lord above all...
Above All Else Get Understanding
The majority of us, Christians, in particular, will never be Bible scholars. The good news, "you don't have to be a Bible scholar to get to heaven." Even more, since God is not a respecter of people, flaunting a "Bible Scholar" title in absence of obedience is not enough to secure a spot in heaven. Essentially, anybody who can read, and memorize can be a Bible scholar, but, to be a Christian, one must live the kind of Godly life that he or she talks about. The heart must be pure, kind, compassionate, always hiding God's Word there. The first step to acquiring understanding is recognizing deficiencies, admitting they exist and making a genuine effort to learn. There is no such thing as having read enough of the Bible! As humans, we...
