"My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patients..." (Jame 1:2-3). Tests, trials, tribulations, and suffering. We all know them well. We will all, as children of God, go through them. "Indeed, all who desire to live Godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted." (2 Timothy 3:12). They slowly conform us to the image of Jesus Christ. Without them we remain stagnant, stop growing, and can even fall backwards. They keep us close to God by seeking Him in prayer. I am just an ordinary man. No different than any other believer. But the Lord mindful of me and smiled on me and said it was time for more trails, tests, and suffering to bring me closer to Him. It has been over a...
Jeremiah 1 : 17 - 19 17 Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them. 18 For, behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brasen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land. 19 And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the Lord, to deliver thee. Trials may come when we work diligently for the Lord. We may get insults but when we are patient God will reward us. Romans 5 : 4, 5 4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5...
Okay...the Gospel message is the same for everyone.Got it!That's not what I'm questioning. BUT here's a point of curiosity to me--since everyone has different personalities, and different sins they're tempted by, for their own reasons,I wonder if a different style of witnessing, tailor made for that particular person, would be more effective. Like, for example, my own unsaved loved ones.My sister believes passionately that she's being more "compassionate" by accepting, and fighting for the "rights" of ,ungodly causes, and that it's "in" to back such causes. And bought the lie of the world that us Christians are "narrow-minded'to not "accept" these sins.Because she's deceived, she thinks she's right, because she has a warped version of...
Believe, trust and wait for the Lord. If you and I have faith like a mustard seed anything we ask it shall be done unto us. So, let us all read Gods word carefully, pray about it and believe it with all your heart. Faith means believing in Gods word no matter what other people say or think. Just do what Jesus said. In my Fathers hour are many mansions. I am going to prepare one for you.
His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it. Therefore, will I go where He tells me to go; and, do what He tells me to do. And so, I lift my glass in celebration of “THE NEW THING;” because, after all that I’ve been through, Jesus has truly saved the best for last. In the name of the FATHER, in the name of the Son, and in the name of the Holy Spirit. AMEN For it was through this miracle, performed at this union, that His glory was first demonstrated. THANK YOU LORD ...
When we start singing praises to Jesus, something happens to our soul, to our body and to our mind. The holy presence of Jesus enters into our heart and makes us all see the wonders of His glory. O sing unto the Lord a new song. Sing to the Lord all the earth. Psalm 96. 1 Yes, God has ascended amid shouts of joy. The Lord amid the sound of trumphets. Sing praises to God. He alone is worthy of all glory and honor, now and forever more. Amen
When we become a child of God, there is no more curse from ancestral or blood line or whatever it may be. In Ezekiel 18 : 2- 3 and 19-20 we read 2. What mean ye, that ye use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge? 3. As I live, saith the Lord God, ye shall not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel. Ezekiel 18:19-20 19. Yet say ye, Why? doth not the son bear the iniquity of the father? When the son hath done that which is lawful and right, and hath kept all my statutes, and hath done them, he shall surely live. 20. The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear...
