God, the real owner of everything we have right now has sent us here to earth to be holy and pure before Him. He is the Landlord, we are the tenants. We must follow the rules and do what our landlord tell us to do. a. We must adhere to a lease agreement. To love the Lord with all your heart, mind and soul and to love your neighbor as yourself. Once you do this you are adhering to the agreement done with God. b. Maintain the premises. Clean up and purify your heart before God. He loves to see us living and walking in the Spirit. Wash me, cleanse me and purify my heart o Lord from all sin and evil. c. Allow the landlord to enter the premises. O yes. Lord Jesus, You are welcome in this place. You are welcome in my heart...
Don't get it Twisted: For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- Ephesians 2:8
” it came about as he finished speaking all these words, that the ground that was under them split open; and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up … and the earth closed over them, and they perished from the midst of the assembly.” Numbers 16: 31-33 (NASB) The Bible is chock-full of stories illustrating events painting extraordinary subliminal portraits depicting examples of God’s judgment. The original example of God handing down judgment occurred when the first man and woman (Adam & Eve) disobeyed Him by eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. The first act of judgment is of great significance because Adam & Eve’s sin created somewhat of a residual effect by bringing about generational curses for as long as...
Some years after I finally accepted my calling, I remember pleading with God to allow me to preach. But to be called and then be forced to sit in the background and listen to people speak from books of the Bible they couldn’t even properly pronounce was the most aggravating experience of my life. It was during my inner court period that the Lord was developing my gift. I would be in the shower, preaching to bars of soap and washrags. I would be walking through the woods laying hands on trees. All of this might sound comical to you, but I now see these moments as part of a season of fermentation. I was wondering when it would be my time to stand and proclaim the infallible Word of God. My heart would ache because I knew I had something...
I used to do this myself,"note" who is and isn't saved, and who will go to Hell{or did after death} and who is in Heaven. But as I moved on in the Spirit, I "evolved" to knowing it's Gods realm who does and doesn't get saved.Like, looking at someone who is "obviously" saved, shows all the signs, we can say, they're saved. Then I would look at someone who, right up till death, some of their last words were praising the devils way,I would think that they most likely went the other way.BUT--I've also looked at more "in between" type cases, some who were not so obvious either way, and instead of automatically stating to myself,"that person doesn't profess faith in Jesus, they'll go to Hell".I used to "pick the daisy", this one is saved, this...
Our old age tell us that we are getting close to living Jesus forever in heaven. But on earth we shall be thinking about these things..... A. Life will bring back the feelings we had when we were at work and with our children. The past shall come back to us in our mind. Jesus will show us what to do. b. We will try to hide our true feelings so we shall not offend others. If Jesus lives in your heart, then love, mercy and compassion shall be in your soul. c. We will love someone who another. Our children will get married and they will love others, their spouses but we shall continue to pray, and care for them hoping to see each one of them in heaven. d. We will accept that it was never meant to be. Loosing our home and...
Most times I just can’t help but to shout it from the rafters; but, there is something so very sweet, and disarming to the enemy, when we whisper “Thank You LORD” in his ear. We neither fear nor do we fuel the plans of the enemy; for such ones, who give place to devil, in the name of supremacy, are nothing more than cowards. But we, God’s people, give ourselves unto prayer, and while we’re at it, we may as well seal it with a little advance praise. THERE IS BUT ONE SUPREME BEING Commentary: How evil is he who attacks God’s people; and even more so cowardly to attack a building. What did a building do to you? (smh) While I am aware that these infantile, tantrum driven acts are meant to send an evil message; we must reject...
There are three Cs in our personal life. No one can take this from you or from me. 1. Choices. Choose to follow Jesus, step by step. Do what He did, live like He lived, pray like He prayed. 2. Chances. A possibility of something good will happen to us when we follow Jesus. 3. Changes. Jesus will change our life from the bottom up. Our mind will be like Gods mind, full of love and mercy. Follow the Lord all the way to heaven.
John 12:24 Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. We can’t make sense of the circumstances in which we feel buried. Especially when we cannot see anything except darkness and can only smell the stench of decay. During such moments, we must trust that something is growing. Something is being birthed in the invisible realities we likely cannot see. An unplanted seed is nothing more than constrained potential. We love the thought of being gifted and having the ability to do something great, but we don’t smile so brightly when we are placed in the refining processes of life. But aren’t these two intimately connected? How can we...
