One thing I hear over and over again these days--both from the world and those who "claim to be" Christians--is that certain Laws, and rules laid out for us in Bible times, only applied to "them" at that time, and were based on their culture "then", and don't apply now. Like, when it says "the women should dress modestly", now you might see a woman wearing one of those thong bathing suits, reasoning, "those Biblical instructions are "outdated". This is 2019. It would be ridiculous to follow it "nowadays". Or gay "marriage". I've even heard many "so-called" Christians state that, well, now our culture is different, we're more "broadminded" (translation--accepting of sin) now, we've "advanced" since those days, now we're more "accepting"...

Let the Savior and Lord enter into our hearts, our homes, our workplace and wherever we are. Praise and honor Him with everything you have. Love that song that touched my heart this morning. Handels Messiah.

When we get to the Laodicean church, there's almost nothing good to be said!! We see that there's a lot of compromise with the world. Now then, I notice those who pronounce themselves as Christians, but taking a closer look...like, there's this politician running on the Democratic side who claims to be Christian, but is a practicing homosexual!! {Not backslidden, but says you can be both, and has kept his "husband" while claiming Christianity.} He also says he backs abortion, right up to the moment of birth!! Furthermore, when real Christians call these things sin...

When trouble comes, when trials are all over us and when no one comes along to help, Jesus will be there with you and solve all your problems. Take all your burdens to the feet of Jesus, in adoration and worship, He will take everything away from you. Then, why should we worship Him? Why should we draw closer to His heart? Seek the Lord while He can be found. Call upon Him while He is near. Isa. 55.6 We all need to worship the Lord, before we wake up, during the day and at night. Worship the Lord in the beauty of His holiness. Blessings shall come to your life and the peace that passeth all understanding shall fill your heart with joy.

God may be silent but He is still sorting out your issues

O God, help us to see those wonderful things you have stored for us. To love You more than anything else in this world and love others just as Jesus did.

Now I wonder, since God knows our thoughts and intents, is it mandatory to pray out loud? Will a silent prayer be just as effective?
