You know...as we get older, things seem to become "clearer" to us, meaning, we can see things which when we're younger we don't always realize. And we see that where we are in life is where we put ourselves to be.We didn't get there by chance. For myself, when I was young {teens},I thought advancing myself was too "tedious',and so I chose to give in to the "instant gratification" of "copping out",without considering the long range outlook.{A few other categories, too.}After that, even when older, I made a mistake or two, which at the time, not having full foresight, seemed "alright".Now, I see that it did more harm than good.I also know 2 ladies I deal with job related, one came here on a temporary visa, and overstayed, figuring now she has...
Love all my Sunday School teachers. They were so wonderful and made me understand Gods word. They teach Gods word in a way children would understand. Using pictures and now videos of how much God love us with an everlasting love. The surely encourage us to love the Lord and follow Him in His steps till He call us all to heaven. Hallelujah, praise the Lord for all Sunday School teachers who gave themselves to the Lord to teach youngsters to love God more than anything else in this world. Their instruction will make make children understand our future in heaven. Their influence will stay with us till we are adults and when we are far away from the Lord we shall remember what they said. Jesus will never ever leave us nor forsake...
. . . let alone Christian, would commit such an atrocity, void of even the humility to submit to God's chastening? 1 Corinthians 5:1-5 Church at Corinth: You must be reconciled to your brethren in love and righteousness, not in his unrepentant, unapologetic arrogance. Your disobedience only serves to hinder his redemption. You heed God's Word when it comes to those whom you reject, but not when it comes to your own; subjecting God's sheep to his vile language and spirit from the pulpit. There is a price. Arrogance "Shall we accept only good things from the hand of God and never anything bad?" Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time. LOVE = Not your will nor manipulation...
How many times have you heard about someone who did something wrong, give their "reasons" for it,thinking if they did the wrong act,and reasoning that if it was done with "good intentions",that overrides the sin.Like, someone robs someone, then says,"Well, I did it to feed my kids because I had no money. I'm no thief"{You're no thieff? You just robbed someone, what would you call that?}They may try to hasten the death of a relative whose inheritance they get, saying they needed the money, and if you quote from the Bible on that, and ask how they would reconcile it,they say something like,"I'm sure God will understand. He knows I killed the rich relative for a "good cause",because I needed the money."Or a woman getting an abortion,"Well, I...
Love to see everything clean and nice. Specially windows in a high rise building. We want to see the view ouside specially those wonderful clouds to see if Jesus is coming back again to take us all home to heavenInte. Exterior and interior glass cleaning. Frame scrub and take the dust out. Sill wipe and cleaning. Track and rail cleaning. All done for the glory of God. Then I thought what David said. Wash me clean from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. Psalm 51.2 Jesus want us all clean, pure and holy in His sight. He want to send blessings upon blessing on our life but we must be pure before Him. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands ye sinners and purify your hearts ye double minded...
If "jealousy" means disliking the unfairness of some situations, I would say that the jealousy is justified. If there's something you crave more than anything, it's always out of reach, then you hear that someone else gets it,if not liking that makes you "jealous", then count me in.Now..I hear of people who have financial problems, then see someone else win the lottery.A person in ill health sees a jogger fly by their window. But for me, the "jealousy comes with those who have more time than me.As busy as I've been, and with no sign of it easing up..then I go into a business when it's "slow,"and see them sitting around ,how can I NOT be jealous, knowing ThEY are getting what I want?I'm "jealous" because of the unfairness.I think it would...
