We know animals are God's creation, were created even before Adam and Eve. God instructed Noah to take 2 of each into the Ark, male and female, meaning they could start breeding again after the Flood, ensuring their survival. We read of the lion laying down with the lamb. Jesus rode a white horse down from Heaven, as seen in John's vision in Revelation. Jesus said a sparrow doesn't fall to the Earth without your Father knowing it. But with all that being said, animals aren't the "crown of creation" like Man is. Also, there's no salvation program for animals, soooo…. piecing it all together, here's the question--if we, say, have a pet, and, being that the effects of the fall fell on animals too, let's say the pet is up in years, and gets a health issue, if we pray for that pet, will God likely heal it...or do the effects of prayer only apply to humans? Anything one way or another supporting or refuting prayer helping animals?

We have an older cat that I have told to be healed in Jesus and the next day he is fine. This cat is over ### years old and he has even been driven over with a car. Didn't Jesus say to some be it unto you as you have believed? Doesn't the Bible teach us or instruct us to preach unto the creatures in Mark 16:15? I believe God will save all the creatures, creation and mankind that He desires from many examples in the Word.

I know that God cares for the animals and all our pets too. Not because there is a specific verse in the Bible that says so, but because we love them, and He loves us... enough to want our joy to be complete. He promises that if we ask and have faith, we can say to the mulberry tree to be uprooted and planted in the sea and it will obey us (Luke 17:6). It's all about teaching us to take all our cares to the Lord, no matter how big or small, and knowing He will hear and answer.
My cat prays before the Lord. He does not eat anything before saying thank you Jesus for this wonderful meal. I can see him seating in front of the plate full of fish and chicken. His eyes closed and his heart toward heaven. Love to see this. I know he loves the Lord. He blesses him with good meals and cats and dogs are full of thanks to God for having what they need. The Lord created all animals we see around us. He loves them so much. Jesus said. Look at the birds, they do not gather in barns wheat or corn, but God provides for them what they need. Praise the Lord. He is a wonderful provider to those who love and praise Him. The birds sing praises to God all the time.

WITHIN EVERYTHING THAT IS WITHIN ME, I TRULY BELIEVE THAT ANIMALS WILL BE IN HEAVEN. THE LORD KNOWS OUR HEARTS WHEN WE PRAY FOR OUR ANIMALS AND IF WE HAVE FAITH, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WHEN WE ASK IN FAITH FOR THEM TO BE HEALED.
Do not ever throw your pet on a thrash bin when it gets old or you are moving away. Take them to the Animal Care and Shelter. They will find a home for them. I am praying daily for the puppy mills who treat future pets so bad. In cages, so filthy and uncared for. Please, fast and pray for those owners and care takers of puppy mills to get save and treat animals just as they would treat their children.

Recently I have posted a prayer request for ###, ###, and ###. Grandpa ### is an old feral cat the vet gave him 4 months to live. He has kidney disease. He could not live outside anymore and had to be treated for his kidney disease. ### will be his 3rd year gotcha day. Through prayers I believe ### is alive because of all those who prayed for him. I will continue to pray for grandpa ###. ### is another feral cat. They found him last week. He has many health problems and they did not expect him to survive. With prayers and those taking care of him, he has put on about a pound and seems to be doing so much better. He has a long road ahead of him, and I will continue to pray for these cats. There are many more animals I can tell you about. But I believe God listened to our prayers for these animals and are helping them in their needs. Thank you Father Praise God!

I'd say what I like most about animals {especially the domesticated ones, the pets} is that they show innocent, unconditional love. Jesus said we're to come to Him as little children, but what I see in these pets is, it looks like, that same innocent, childlike faithfulness.}
