"The man of sin will not be revealed unless first comes the apostasy, the falling away. In Revelation, we read of the letters to the churches, and their good and bad points. When we get to the Laodicean church, there's almost nothing good to be said!! We see that there's a lot of compromise with the world. Now then, I notice those who pronounce themselves as Christians, but taking a closer look...like, there's this politician running on the Democratic side who claims to be Christian, but is a practicing homosexual!! {Not backslidden, but says you can be both, and has kept his "husband" while claiming Christianity.} He also says he backs abortion, right up to the moment of birth!! Furthermore, when real Christians call these things sin {as the Bible says we should}, he turns on THEM!! ok... We have Dolly Parton, goes around saying she loves the Lord, but has an "open marriage" also gets mad at real Christians for admitting gays are sinners, etc. Elvis Presley who thought because he sung some Gospel songs he was a "real" Christian, but was into the occult, and drugs {not backslidden, habitual} And recently Taylor Swift another one poisoned by the Hollywood way of thinking, claims to be Christian, but again, tries to stop other Christians from quoting the Bible that homosexuality is an abomination. Now....putting this all together, and noticing that it's happening much more nowadays than in the past, and this is supposed to be the last days, does that mean we're in the Laodicean era now? Seems so. Is apostasy a sign of the last days? I would say so."

The Laodicean Christians that we read about in the Book of Revelation in chapter 3v.16-17 were said to be like Sarah. They were neither hot nor cold. There was some level of complacency regarding their Christianity. This was a judgmental call and a rebuke. There are many Christians who show behavior in this manner. One disadvantage is that living in this manner may cause others to stumble and the church could be misrepresented for the precepts that it stands for. It is either you are not or could, but in this walk, there can be no middle ground. You are either in or out.

I want to be hot and ready to serve the Lord. I do not want to be cold or warm. I want to be just like Jesus, full of love and compassion for lost people.
All glory to God almighty. He will keep us in the right track that leads us all to His holy presence. Be real, love one another and smile just as Jesus would.
