Beloved of All
Hi everyone may bless you and keep you all I’ve been struggling with many trials. A judge would not listen to my evidence not allow me to explain why the city agency violated my due process but insisted on paying the landlord’s fraudulent arrears amount. I have now turned to legal aid they said they someone would call me back. I prayed before I went to the hearing and the judge turned out to be biased. I pray for a good lawyer that will hear and understand that I submitted all of the required paperwork in time but that the judge suppressed me and I mistakenly spoke the wrong rent amount out of durreds. Why is it there when people are attempting to tell the truth ther it get a suppressed. Does the lord want me to say something different. Eveysinglentilenthetbivebrold the truth about what is happening to me ingernpenaliEs. This involveda a direct rent overcharge which started four years ago the landlord wants to cover it up the city housing agency already caught it and gave them a violation. The city social services agency suppressed my paperwork showing never my level rent is and then tried to pin they’ll fredilent wrrears amount kn me without reviewing thendocumente I submitted before they and the judge suppressed my testimony as I want the dirt to pay the direct arrears and. Or lock me into a fraudulent debt. I’ve fought (not in a belligerent way) to have the truth be made know but it backfired. So I fuel a ilmjust have to accept the debt. Father in Jesus name please help me. Why won’t the truth come out???

We hear your heart and we join with you in bringing this heavy burden before the Lord, for we know how painful it is when you have done what was required, told the truth, and yet feel suppressed and unheard by those in authority. We understand your distress over the judge not listening to your evidence, the city agency not reviewing your paperwork, and the landlord pursuing what you believe is a fraudulent and overcharged amount that has lingered for four years. It is especially difficult when under duress you spoke a wrong amount and now fear being locked into a debt that is not true.

We want to remind you that our God is a God of truth and justice and He sees all that is done in secret and in the courts of men. A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight Proverbs 11:1. He has told us to learn to do well, seek justice, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow Isaiah 1:17. Yahweh will judge the world in righteousness. He will minister judgment to the peoples in uprightness Psalm 9:8. Even when earthly judges fail or seem biased, the Lord remains the true Judge, for Yahweh is our judge, Yahweh is our lawgiver, Yahweh is our king, he will save us Isaiah 33:22. He knows you submitted your paperwork in time and He knows the violation the city housing agency already found regarding the overcharge.

We do not believe the Lord wants you to say something different than the truth. He desires truth in the inward parts and He calls us to speak truthfully, even when it is difficult. You shall not spread a false report. You shall not join with the wicked to be a malicious witness Exodus 23:1. At the same time He calls us to speak the truth with wisdom and clarity, not out of fear or pressure. When you mistakenly spoke the wrong rent amount out of duress, that does not bind you to a lie. It is right and honest to seek to correct the record respectfully through proper legal channels, and we pray you will have opportunity to do so. We know that in all things God works for good with those who love him, who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28, even when the process feels unjust and the truth seems suppressed for a time. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this. He will make your righteousness shine out as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun Psalm 37:5-6.

We encourage you not to simply accept a fraudulent debt out of exhaustion, but also not to carry this anxiety alone. Continue to follow up diligently with legal aid, keep copies of every document you submitted, every violation notice, and every communication, and calmly and clearly ask for help correcting the mistaken statement made under duress. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7.

We join you now in prayer.

Father in Jesus name we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up our dear one to You. Lord You see the evidence that was not heard, the paperwork that was suppressed, the testimony that was cut off, and the duress that caused confusion. You know the true rent amount and the history of this overcharge. We ask You to make the truth known in Your perfect timing and way. We pray for a good, attentive and understanding lawyer through legal aid, one who will listen, comprehend the timeline, and advocate with integrity. We pray for favor and for open doors, that the documents already submitted would be reviewed and that any fraudulent arrears would be exposed and not charged to Your child. We pray for the judge, for the city agencies and for the landlord, that You would move their hearts toward justice and honesty. Grant our loved one peace that surpasses understanding, wisdom to know what to say and when to remain silent, courage to persevere, and provision for every true need. Let justice roll on like rivers and righteousness like a mighty stream, and let Your will be done in this case. We thank You that we can come to You only through Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved and have access to Your mercy. We trust You as our ultimate Defender and Judge. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We hear how heavy and frustrating this season has been for you. You did what you were asked to do, gathered your paperwork, tried to explain calmly in court, and still left feeling cut off and misheard, even saying a wrong number under pressure. It is understandable to feel discouraged and to wonder why telling the truth seemed to make things harder, and what the Lord wants from you now.

Waiting for legal aid to call back when rent and arrears are on the line is especially hard. While you wait, one practical step that can help you feel steadier and make it easier for an advocate to help is to keep everything together in one folder. Keep copies of what you submitted and when, the violation notice about the overcharge, and a short written note of what happened at the hearing and the correct rent amount you intended to state. If a few days pass without a call, a brief polite follow up to legal aid can keep your case visible. Please do not feel you must quickly agree to a debt that does not seem right before someone you trust has had time to review it with you.

You have not failed because you wanted the facts to be seen. God sees your desire to be honest even under duress, and He cares about your need for clear guidance and fair help.

Father, we bring our friend before You in Jesus name. You know the details of this housing case and the worry it brings. Grant peace while waiting, wisdom and understanding with any lawyer who reviews the case, and direction for each next step. Let the facts be weighed fairly and provide steady help and hope in the days ahead. Amen.

Your heavy trial has been heard, and my heart is moved with compassion for you in this season of distress when you have sought to speak the truth and have found your testimony suppressed and your paperwork set aside.

There is a God who is ever true, ever true by nature and true to His nature, and He cannot act otherwise than in a straightforward, upright and truthful manner. Men may refuse to listen, and judges may be biased, and agencies may overlook what is plainly set before them, but the Lord our God is a righteous Father, just and true in all His ways, and His judgments are true and righteous altogether. He is the pillar and ground of the Truth, and while He is pleased to make His children to be instruments for maintaining it in this world, He Himself maintains His own Truth and will not suffer it to be finally trampled under foot. When truth has been hidden as in the catacombs, yet it has lived deep in the hearts of His people, for God preserves it.

Do not think that the Lord would have you speak anything other than the truth. He delights in truth, and all His truths are joined together as links in one chain. To affirm what is false, even to secure peace or to accept a fraudulent debt for quietness sake, would not be pleasing to Him. Speak the truth as you are able, with meekness and with patience, and commit your cause to Him who judges righteously. He who quickens the dead and calls those things which are not as though they were is able to bring to light what has been hidden and to vindicate what has been suppressed when His time is come.

I would exhort you to continue in prayer and to continue to seek that lawful help which Providence may provide. If legal aid has promised to call back, wait upon it, keep copies of all that you submitted in due time, note plainly the overcharge and the violation already found, and ask the Lord to provide a counsellor who will hear you with understanding and plead your cause with care. Do not be hasty to bind yourself to a debt which you know to be false, but neither be driven to belligerence. Let your conversation be seasoned with grace, and let your trust be in the living God rather than in the favor of man.

Let us pray together. O righteous Father, You know the oppression of Your child, You have seen the papers cast aside and the words stopped, and You know the true amount and the true account. Look in mercy upon this need. Provide, we beseech You, a wise and faithful advocate who will listen and understand, and move the hearts of those in authority to review what has been submitted and to judge with equity. Guard Your child from duress and fear, keep the heart in perfect peace through trust in Christ, and in Your own time and wisdom make the truth to shine forth. We ask not for cunning but for justice, not for advantage but for that which is right and true, and we ask it in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who suffered for sinners that we might be made righteous through His righteousness. Amen.

May the Lord keep you, sustain your faith, and show you that to trust Him is well with your soul, and may He grant you to see His delivering hand in His own good season.
