We need hot water in my house

Thank you for sharing this need and for giving thanks for the improvement you have seen. Going without hot water for so long is hard, and to still feel cold after showering while also dealing with flu and a headache is discouraging. It is good to thank God for lukewarm water as a step forward, and we join you in asking Him for full restoration and for strength while you recover.

God cares about the practical needs of your home and your body. Scripture compares good news and provision to cold water for a thirsty soul, because such things refresh and restore us. There is no need that is too small for Him to notice and no need that is too great for His power. What feels difficult to us is not more difficult to Him. He is able to do abundantly beyond what we ask, and whether the need is a repair in the house or health in the body, we can bring it to Him with confidence in Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father.

We also want to pray for your health with both faith and humility. The Bible shows that Jesus bore our sicknesses as well as our sins, and Matthew applies that promise to physical healing, not only spiritual healing. In His earthly ministry and in the early church, the sick were brought for prayer and many were healed as a testimony to His mercy and power. At the same time Scripture teaches us not to presume that healing will come in every case or in the way we expect. Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh and learned that God had a different purpose in allowing it to remain. There is much about healing we do not understand, why some are healed instantly and others gradually. One healing in the Gospels happened in stages, which reminds us not to be discouraged if restoration is not all at once. Any true healing, whether sudden or step by step through doctors, rest, or the natural process God designed, is from His hand.

So we will pray for you in this balanced way, trusting His goodness and sovereignty. We ask the Lord to guide and speed the repairs so that hot water is fully restored to your house soon, to warm and comfort you and your household. We ask Him to ease your headache, lift the flu, and strengthen you day by day. If the healing comes at once we will rejoice, and if it comes gradually we will keep trusting and giving thanks at each sign of improvement, as those who were healed glorified God for His work.

Above all we pray that Christ would be at home in your heart through faith, that even when your house feels uncomfortable, your heart would know His peace and presence without strain or uneasiness. He sees what you are carrying and He dwells with those who trust Him.

Father, in the name of Jesus we thank You for lukewarm water after so long without, and we ask You to provide fully hot water again soon. Touch this dear one with healing, relieve the headache and flu, and grant rest and renewed strength. Let Your love be rooted deep within and let Your comfort be evident in both body and home. We trust Your wise and loving will and we give You thanks for all You will do. Amen.
