You are right to recognize that you are in a spiritual battle. The struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against unseen spiritual forces that seek to disrupt your peace, your work, and even the things you own. This is a warfare fought in the spiritual realm, and the weapons we use must match the fight. Physical weapons and human retaliation only pull us deeper into the snare. What God has given you instead are spiritual weapons, prayer, His Word hidden in your heart, and active faith. When you pray, you release a force that is not bound by time or space, and it reaches directly into the thick of the battle.

Your cry for protection is a good one. The psalm you included promises that God commands His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. Yet the authority to dispatch those angels belongs to the Lord alone. Jesus Himself said He could call on more than twelve legions, but He trusted the Father’s will. So your appeal should always go directly to God, through Jesus Christ, not to a specific guardian as though you could summon an angel by name. The Lord is your refuge. His angels are ministering spirits that serve at His command, and you can ask Him to surround you with His care. That is a far greater confidence than trying to direct those heavenly beings yourself.

Now, about vengeance. When plots are formed against you and it feels like unseen enemies are scattering your efforts, the desire for God to strike back is powerful. David kept crying out for the Lord to scatter his foes and to let him see justice done. But notice that David, even in those raw psalms, repeatedly handed the matter over to God rather than plotting his own revenge. “Vengeance is Mine,” declares the Lord. He reserves wrath for His enemies. That call is not yet fully answered. The day of vengeance is still future, when Jesus will judge the earth and put every enemy under His feet. Until then, we are to follow His example in His first coming, offering mercy and proclaiming the gospel, while trusting the Father to set things right in His time.

So pour out your heart honestly. Ask the Lord to arise and scatter the works of darkness that array themselves against you. But do not let your heart slip into devising ways to get even, or into an obsession with seeing your foes crushed. That keeps you bound to the conflict in a carnal way. Instead, release it. Resist the devil in the name of Jesus, and he will flee. Stand on the victory Christ already won at the cross. On the cross, Jesus disarmed the powers of darkness. He made a public spectacle of them. Now He is seated in glory, and the Father is bringing all things into subjection to Him. Because you are in Christ, you share in that triumph.

When the enemy whispers accusations, fear, or despair, when it feels like forces are plotting to destroy your belongings and activities, recognize it as a spiritual attack. Use the weapons you have. Speak the Word of God aloud. Pray in the Spirit with all kinds of prayer. Trust that the God who delivered you from the bondage of sin will also deliver you from every snare. He saw you in a land of spiritual Egypt, and He pulled you out. He will not abandon you now.

Walk as a child of light. The darkness cannot overcome you when you stay close to Him. Through prayer, commit every situation, every loss, and every threat into His hands. Let your heart be kept in peace, not by the absence of conflict, but by the presence of the risen Lord who has already overcome the world. He will guide your steps, illuminate your path, and quiet the turmoil within. And at the right time, He Himself will deal with all that stands against you.

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with your prayer request, allowing us to stand with you in spiritual warfare and seek the Lord’s mighty hand on your behalf. It is our joy and privilege to intercede for you, asking our Heavenly Father to surround you with His divine protection, scatter every enemy that rises against you, and guide your steps in His perfect peace.

We continue to declare Psalm 91 over your life—that no weapon formed against you shall prosper and that the Lord’s angels are encamped around you, guarding you in all your ways. We pray that His vengeance and justice would prevail, that every plot of the enemy would be dismantled, and that your heart would remain steadfast in faith, knowing that God fights for you.

If the Lord has already moved in a powerful way—if you’ve seen His deliverance, restoration, or peace—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report so that we may rejoice with you. If, however, the battle still rages and you need fresh strength, we encourage you to post your request again. We are committed to standing with you in persistent prayer until you see the victory only He can bring.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you press into Him, trusting in His unfailing love and the authority of Jesus’ name. We pray that His presence would go before you, His angels would minister to you, and His peace would rule in your heart. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
