Dear God, I humbly ask for your protection, vengeance and guidance all this year ###. I call upon my guardian angel, my protector, to be with me, to watch over me, and to shield me from harm. May your angel guide my steps, illuminate my path, and bring peace to my heart by scattering all foes fighting&that have plotted against me destroying all my belongings and activities. I trust in your divine care and the power of your angels ###. Amen.(Psalms91:11-12, Matthew26:53, Hebrews12:22-23, Daniel9:21, Revelation12:7-11)

We hear your cry for protection and guidance, and we stand with you in seeking the Lord’s covering over your life. While we understand your desire for divine intervention against those who may seek to harm you, we must first address some concerns in your prayer that do not align with Scripture.

First, we notice that you called upon your guardian angel rather than God Himself. While angels are indeed ministering spirits sent to serve believers (Hebrews 1:14), we are never instructed to pray to them or place our trust in them above the Lord. Our access to God is through Jesus Christ alone, there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is our mediator (1 Timothy 2:5), and it is through Him that we approach the Father. We must direct our prayers to God, not to angels, for He alone is worthy of our worship and trust.

Second, while we share your desire for justice against those who may oppose you, Scripture warns us against seeking personal vengeance. Romans 12:19 tells us, "Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, 'Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.'" (WEB) Instead of asking for vengeance, we should pray for God’s justice to prevail and for our hearts to be free from bitterness. If we have been wronged, we can trust that God sees all and will act in His perfect timing.

Now, let us lift you up in prayer, seeking the Lord’s protection, wisdom, and peace:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Defender. Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over this year. Shield them from every scheme of the enemy and surround them with Your angels as they walk in Your will. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You will expose and thwart every plan of the wicked.

Father, we pray for Your guidance to illuminate their path. May Your Holy Spirit lead them in every decision, and may they trust in You with all their heart, leaning not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Lord, scatter their foes not by their own hand, but by Your sovereign power. Bring peace to their heart and mind, knowing that You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2).

We also ask for Your justice to prevail in every situation where they have been wronged. Let Your righteousness shine forth, and may Your will be done in their life and the lives of those who seek to harm them. If there is unforgiveness or bitterness in their heart, soften it, Lord, and help them to release it into Your hands.

Finally, Father, we pray that would draw closer to You, seeking Your face above all else. May they find their strength and hope in You alone, for You are their deliverer. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to protect and guide Your children.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to meditate on Psalm 91, which speaks of God’s protection over those who trust in Him. Remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Put on the full armor of God daily, standing firm in faith, and trust that He will fight for you. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and surrender your life to Him. He is the only way to true peace and eternal security.

We hear the ache behind your words, the exhaustion of feeling targeted, the frustration of seeing your belongings and activities destroyed by people who seem bent on doing you harm. That kind of opposition can leave you isolated and on edge, wondering when the next blow will fall. Yet even in this storm, you’ve done the most important thing: you turned your face toward God and asked Him to be your shield. That act of trust matters more than you may realize.

When the attacks feel relentless, it can help to anchor each day with a simple, deliberate pause to remind yourself that you are not alone in this fight. You don’t have to muster the right words, only an honest heart. As you keep praying, we also encourage you to let a trusted friend or pastor know what you’re facing. Having someone physically present to pray with you and listen can lighten the burden and break the sense of isolation that these trials often bring.

Jesus, we lift up the one who wrote this cry for help. Encircle them with Your strong protection. Calm their anxious thoughts and replace fear with the steady confidence that You see every plan formed against them. Where belongings have been lost or activities ruined, bring restoration according to Your will. Guard their steps and give them practical wisdom for each day. Most of all, help them rest in Your righteous care, trusting that You are their defender even when justice seems delayed. In Your name we pray.

The prayer you have lifted speaks of a guardian angel, a protector, and a request for vengeance upon your enemies. Yet the Word of God sets before us a higher and more blessed way. The angels are ministering spirits, sent forth to minister to them who shall be heirs of salvation; but their ministry is not independent, nor are they to be invoked by us as mediators. They are creatures, formed by the same hand that made the heavens, and their service flows from the throne of God, not from our pleas to them. The promise in the Psalm is that the Lord will give His angels charge over you, not that you should call upon the angel, but upon the Lord who commands them. When Peter drew his sword, our Lord reminded him that He could call for more than twelve legions of angels, yet He turned not to the angelic host, but to the Father. Your safety lies in the sovereign care of God, who alone can command these mighty ones. Trusting in angelic intervention as a separate choice is to miss the glorious truth that it is God Himself, in the person of the Holy Spirit, who keeps and guides you. The hand that made the stars holds you; the eye that never slumbers watches over you. Why look to the servant when the Master Himself has promised to be your shield and exceeding great reward?

Further, you called for vengeance. Walk carefully here. The Lord has said, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay.” We are not to be judges in our own cause. David, when Saul was delivered into his hand, restrained his arm and said, “The Lord shall smite him, or his day shall come to die, or he shall perish in battle.” The Lord’s gentleness prevented him, and he left the matter in the hands of the Most High. Our Master taught us to pray, not for the destruction of our enemies, but for their forgiveness. The divine sovereignty which you have invoked in your Scripture references is indeed a comfort: the Lord reigns, and all that set themselves against Him shall be scattered. But that scattering is not by our imprecation, but by His own omnipotent will. The Lion of the tribe of Judah will break every foe, but till then, we are to love, to bless, and to overcome evil with good. To ask for vengeance is to take the sword out of the hand of Christ and to wield it with faint and sinful fingers. Better far to commit all to Him who judges righteously.

Consider this too: the trials you face, the plots and the losses, are not signs that God has forsaken you. They are, in the hands of a loving Father, part of the divine discipline that fits us for glory. The eagle stirs up her nest, flutters over her young, spreads abroad her wings, takes them, bears them on her pinions, so the Lord alone did lead them. Your afflictions, sanctified, are spiritual promotions. The Lord tears away earthly comforts that He may give Himself more fully. Trust His hand, and do not look to the instrument of your trial with a vengeful eye. The enemy may scheme, but he can only do what the Lord permits, and that permission is measured out with infinite wisdom and affection. The God who broke the pride of Satan in the beginning will break down every power that exalts itself against His children, but He will do it in His own time, by His own means, and to His own glory.

The ground of your hope is not in the remembrance of angels but in the mercy of God through Jesus Christ. This is the wonder of wonders: that sinful men, born in Adam’s fall, should be taken up while fallen angels are left in darkness. Why this should be is a mystery of divine sovereignty, but the sweet reason is found in the eternal love of God, who chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world. It was not the nature of angels that He took up, but the seed of Abraham. He became man, born of a woman, made under the law, to redeem them that were under the law. Here is your true protector, the Lord Jesus Christ, who has spoiled principalities and powers, triumphing over them on His cross. To Him alone commit your cause. He will scatter your foes, not by the agency of a guardian angel apart from Himself, but by His own indwelling Spirit and the ministry of providence, in which He may, if He pleases, employ the holy angels as His flaming ministers. But it is God who watches over you; God who guards your going out and your coming in. Your belongings, your activities, your very life are in His hands, and nothing can touch them without His leave. The secret of the tabernacle, the holy place of His purpose, is unassailable; none of the elect can perish.

I urge you, then, to turn from every thought of vengeance and from every prayer that would go to any other than the throne of grace. Come boldly to that throne, pleading the blood of Jesus, and find grace to help in time of need. Look to the Divine Presence as your one hope. When He shines into the soul, the dark shadows flee. When He comes, the mountains flow down at His feet. He is your Instructor and your Guide; He who began the good work will perfect it. Let your prayer be: “Lord, thou art my protector; lead me, teach me, deliver me, for I trust in thee.” And rest in the sovereign love that chose you, the sovereign power that keeps you, and the sovereign grace that will bring you safely home. This will bring more peace to your heart than all the imagined help of angels, for it places you in the very hands of the angel of the covenant, the Lord Jesus, who is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask God for protection, yet you call for vengeance and the destruction of your foes. Do you not hear the apostle who, when wronged, did not seek revenge but left it to God, saying, “The Lord will reward him”? He armed Timothy not with curses but with avoidance, entrusting all judgment to the One who judges justly. To pray for the scattering of enemies and the ruin of their belongings is forbidden. Our Lord Himself commands, “Pray for your enemies.” If you seek redress while holding onto anger, you shut your own mouth before God. What fellowship has a heart crying for vengeance with the One who died for His murderers?

You speak much of angels, but do not imagine that you can summon them as servants to carry out your wrath. The holy angels behold the face of God; they minister to those who inherit salvation, not to those who harbor bitterness. If you desire their guardianship, then walk in humility. A broken and contrite heart God will not despise. Such a heart does not strike back, does not rise up in retaliation, but bears insult quietly and is not eager for vengeance. This is the sacrifice that pleases Heaven.

Consider your own sins. It is better for the soul to be gnawed now by the remembrance of them than to face the terror of judgment later. If you ask protection while refusing to forgive, you ask inexpediently. God’s care is like a hen gathering her chicks under her wings, warm and sheltering, but we scatter ourselves by our own sins. Return beneath those wings by putting away malice. Let your guardian be God Himself, who commands His angels concerning those who fear Him. Trust in His divine care, but let your prayer be for peace, for grace to endure wrongs, for light to see your own faults. Then will your path be illuminated, and your heart find true peace.
