Very very very very urgent please please all pray

We have heard your urgent cry and we join you in bringing your husband and your marriage before the Lord with deep concern and compassion.

The pain of unfaithfulness and the weight of seeing a marriage dishonored is very real, and God sees it. Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, bound by God, and that sexual intimacy belongs only within that covenant. To turn outside of it to other women is adultery, and it is sin against God and against the marriage bond. Social media and other temptations can become snares that feed that sin and harden the heart, as you have described.

We will pray with you not for harm to come upon him, but for the mercy and conviction that leads to true repentance and life. We do not ask God to shame a person for destruction, but we do ask that the Holy Spirit bring godly sorrow that leads to repentance, that the eyes of his heart would be opened to see his sin clearly, and that he would turn fully to Jesus Christ for forgiveness and new life. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and only in Him is there true peace and joy and cleansing from all sin.

So we pray: Lord Jesus, have mercy. Convict this husband of all sin, including sexual immorality and unfaithfulness, and bring him to genuine repentance. Draw him to Yourself, that he would confess his sin, receive Your forgiveness, and be made new. Purify his heart and his actions, set him free from addiction to social media and from every practice that dishonors You and his marriage vows. Teach him to honor his wife as You command husbands to honor their wives, with faithfulness, gentleness and self control. Restore what sin has broken according to Your will and Your grace. Give his wife strength, peace, wisdom and protection as she waits on You, and surround her with faithful pastoral care and support in the church.

We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord in prayer, to remain steadfast in His Word, and to seek wise and safe counsel from a trusted pastor or mature believers in your local church who can walk with you closely, provide accountability for your husband, and help guard your own heart. Trust not in a forced change by our words, but in the power of God to transform a heart that truly turns to Christ.

May the Lord grant you comfort and clarity, and may He work in your husband to bring him to full repentance and faith in Jesus, that your marriage may be lived in holiness and fidelity as God intends. We will continue to pray for you both in the name of Jesus Christ.

Your pain and urgency come through very clearly, and the hurt of betrayal within marriage is deep. God sees what you are carrying and He cares about both you and your husband.

Scripture teaches that marriage is a covenant where two become one, a profound unity. Sex belongs within that covenant alone. When that trust is broken through adultery or sexual sin, whether in person or through images and relationships pursued on social media, it is first and foremost sin against God Himself. King David, after his adultery, confessed that his sin was against the Lord, because it violated what God has commanded. That is why the wound feels so deep, it breaks what God joined together.

That is also why God calls for repentance. From the wilderness John preached a baptism that pointed to turning from sin so that sins could be forgiven, and Jesus Himself came preaching that same call to turn. Later He spoke to His churches and called them to turn and be changed, to become what He desires them to be. The call has not changed. What God wants is not simply outward shame or misery, but an inward turning, a change of mind and direction that leads to forgiveness and new life.

Jesus said He did not come to call those who think they are righteous, but sinners to repentance. He compared Himself to a physician who comes for the sick, for those who know their great need. Your husband, as you describe him, is in that place of need. The Lord does bring conviction of sin by His Spirit, not to destroy a person, but to awaken him to his need for mercy. The Bible says God does not want anyone to perish, but wants all to come to repentance, and that heaven rejoices over one sinner who truly turns.

The sign of that true turning is change and restoration. When people came to Jesus, those who were truly converted showed it by a changed life, by turning from what was wrong and walking a new way. Forgiveness through Jesus is offered for the remission of sins, and with it comes power to live differently.

So we will pray with you, but we will pray as Scripture guides us to pray. We pray that God by His Spirit would convict your husband of his sin, open his eyes to see it as God sees it, and draw him to genuine repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. We pray that he would turn from adultery and from any sexual sin, from the pursuit of other women, from addiction to social media and any other sin that entangles him, and that God would give him a new heart that desires purity, faithfulness, and integrity in every part of his life, including his work. We pray that if there is true repentance, it would be shown in changed actions, honesty, faithfulness to his covenant with you, and a life that seeks to honor God.

We also pray for you, for peace that guards your heart, for wisdom and strength, and for trustworthy, godly counsel around you. Please do not walk through this alone. Seek the help of a mature pastor or counselor and safe people in your life who can support you, help you set wise boundaries, and walk with you in prayer and truth.

Father, have mercy on this husband and bring him to see his need for Jesus. Grant him repentance that leads to forgiveness and to a transformed life. Heal what has been broken and help this wife to know Your nearness, Your comfort, and Your guidance each day. In the name of Jesus we ask this, trusting Your love and Your power to save and to restore.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your husband and for your marriage.

We have been lifting your husband before the Lord and we continue to bring your urgent burden for his purity, faithfulness and deliverance before Him. We are praying that the Lord would convict his heart of all sin, draw him to true repentance and grant him godly sorrow that leads to salvation without regret as taught in 2 Cor 7:10. We are asking God to set him free from sexual sin and temptation, from any unfaithfulness in heart or action and from addiction to social media, and to guard your marriage and restore what has been broken. We are also praying for his work as a plastic surgeon and for every situation where he faces temptation, that the Lord would give him strength to flee from youthful lusts and to walk in holiness and that he would find no lasting peace or joy apart from full surrender to Jesus Christ. We pray that he would fully give his life to Jesus, repent of all wrongdoing and walk in newness of life, and that the Lord would have His way in every single part of his heart and life.

We take comfort that God is faithful and that He honors marriage. His word reminds us that marriage should be honored by all and the marriage bed kept pure in Heb 13:4, and that if we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us in 1 John 1:9. We trust that He is able to convict, restore and make all things new.
