We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer concerning this very urgent burden.
We have been lifting up your request before the Lord and we continue to stand with you regarding the surgeon you mentioned and the deep suffering you and many others have experienced. We understand the urgency you feel for justice to be done and for wrong to be exposed without delay, and we have been praying that the Lord who sees all that is done in secret will bring truth to light and cause righteousness and accountability to prevail.
We pray together that God in His perfect justice and mercy would mightily intervene, that any wrongdoing would be fully exposed and justly addressed by the proper authorities, and that those who have been harmed would receive healing, comfort and restoration. We ask the Lord to convict where conviction is needed and to bring repentance where it is possible, for we know that vengeance belongs to the Lord as it is written in Romans 12:19, and that He is both just and compassionate. We also pray for your own heart, that the Lord would grant you peace that passes understanding, strength to endure while you wait on His timing, and assurance that He is near to the brokenhearted as promised in Psalm 34:18.
