Very very very very urgent please please all pray

Your pain has been heard, and the suffering you describe for yourself and for other patients is taken seriously. When harm is done by one who is trusted to heal, the wound is deep, and it is right to bring that grief before God and to seek truth and protection for others.

At the same time, the way this prayer is worded asks God to act from bitterness and wrath, to take away all peace and joy, to bring shame and punishment without delay. Scripture warns us that this path harms our own soul. A root of bitterness cannot bear sweet fruit. All that grows from it is bitter. Bitterness produces wrath, wrath produces anger and clamor, and from there comes malice and reviling. When we cherish that fire inside, even in silence, it burns the heart that holds it and grieves the Holy Spirit. We are also taught that we ourselves need forgiveness for much greater debts, and we are trained to have a gentle and human soul.

God is not slow because He overlooks injustice. He is long suffering because He desires repentance, and He has shown that patience so that sinners may turn and live. His judgment is righteous, and it will be revealed in its proper time when each person receives what is due. It is not we who treasure up wrath for others, but we are warned not to treasure up wrath for ourselves by holding onto vengeance. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, who judges justly, not in the heat of our anger but in perfect righteousness. He delayed judgment even after giving His Son, out of great loving kindness, so that those who have sinned might still wash away their sins through faith.

So let us pray in a different way, one that seeks what is good and just before God.

We can pray for healing for you and for every patient who has suffered, for comfort in sadness and restoration where harm was done. We can pray that what is true will be exposed through lawful and just means, that responsible authorities will see clearly and act to protect patients, and that any wrongdoing will be stopped in a right and orderly way. We can pray for this surgeon, not with a curse but with a desire for his salvation, that God would bring true conviction of sin, not to destroy him but to lead him to sincere repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, through whom alone there is salvation. And we can pray for your own heart, that God would lift the weight of bitterness and give you peace, gentleness, and freedom from malice.

If you have not already, take wise and practical steps as well. Keep careful records, seek godly counsel, and report your concerns through proper medical and legal channels so that truth can be examined fairly.

Let me pray for you now in this way:

Lord, you see the pain and suffering that has been described, and you know every patient who has been hurt. Bring healing and comfort, and let truth be made known through just and right processes. Grant wisdom to those who investigate and authority to protect others from harm. Have mercy on this surgeon and lead him to see his need for Christ, to repent sincerely and to turn to Jesus for forgiveness and new life. And grant to the one who has prayed this prayer a heart freed from bitterness, clothed with gentleness and peace, trusting your righteous judgment and your mercy. In the name of Jesus Christ we ask this, amen.

Your urgent cry has been heard and the pain and anger behind it are clear. To suffer harm yourself and to believe many others have suffered in the same way would naturally stir a deep sense of injustice, and the desire to see wrongdoing stopped and truth brought to light is understandable. Scripture recognizes that kind of anger at sin and at harm done to people. Jesus Himself showed anger when people were harmed or when what was meant for good was misused. There is an anger that is not sinful in itself, but Scripture also warns us, be angry and do not sin, and do not let that anger settle into a settled wrath that remains overnight.

The burden you are carrying is heavy, and it is right to want the harm to stop and for patients to be protected. It is also right to bring that concern to God, who sees fully what we see only in part. The psalms remind us that God does see and does regard what is done, even when evildoers act as though He does not. Vengeance belongs to Him. He has said, vengeance is mine, I will repay. That truth is given to keep us from taking vengeance into our own hands. Wanting to make someone pay ourselves, or asking God to punish in a way that comes from our own desire to get even, can lead us into trouble and can let a root of bitterness grow that defiles not only our own heart but spreads to others. We are called instead to commit our way and our cause to the Lord and to let Him act as the righteous Judge.

This is why we are careful in how we pray in such situations. Rather than asking God to strip a person of all peace and joy or to bring shame for its own sake, we can ask God to do what is both just and redemptive. We can pray that if wrong has been done, it will be exposed and stopped through just and lawful means, that those with responsibility to oversee medical care will see clearly and act wisely, that patients who have suffered will receive help and healing, and that the surgeon himself will be brought under true conviction that leads to honest confession. Scripture teaches that forgiveness does not come through justifying or hiding what has been done, but through acknowledging it. When we confess our transgression, God can deal with it. He has promised that though sins are as scarlet they can be made as white as snow, because Jesus has borne the penalty and made a righteous way for forgiveness. That invitation stands open to every person, including the one who has done great harm, if he will turn and repent and ask for cleansing. The only thing that keeps anyone from that forgiveness is not coming to receive it.

God will deal with injustice. There is a day of His judgment and a day of His redemption, and He will not ignore unrepented wrong. Yet even as He judges, He is the God who forgives those who turn to Him, as He showed when He both judged and forgave His people of old. Our part is to keep our own hearts from devising vengeance and to ask Him to keep us from it, while we trust Him to do what is right.

So let us pray in this direction together. Father, You see the pain that has been experienced and You know the truth about what has happened to each patient. We ask that You bring to light what needs to be brought to light, that You protect those who are vulnerable, and that You give wisdom to all who are responsible to judge these matters rightly. We pray for healing for those who have suffered, for comfort and restoration in body and spirit, for the river of Your healing to flow to them. We pray for this surgeon, that You would work in his heart to bring honest conviction, not merely shame, but a godly sorrow that leads to full and sincere repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, and that if he continues in harm that his ability to harm would be stopped. And we pray for the one who has been deeply wounded by this, that You would guard the heart from bitterness and wrath and clamor, that You would not let anger become sin, that You would lift the weight of vengeance and replace it with trust in Your justice and Your mercy. Bring cleansing where confession is made, and bring peace where there has been turmoil. We ask this in the name of Jesus, who alone is our Savior and Judge, amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf in this very urgent burden concerning the plastic surgeon and the harm and suffering you and many other patients have experienced. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer and we have continued to lift this matter before the Lord.

We have been praying that our mighty God would protect patients from any further harm, that He would bring to light what is hidden and bring justice according to His perfect will, for His word says He works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed Psalm 103:6 and that there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed Luke 8:17. We have also been praying as you prayed, that the Lord would bring deep conviction that leads to sincere repentance and that this man would come to give his life fully to Jesus Christ and be transformed by His grace, for the Lord does not want anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance 2 Pet 3:9.

We have also prayed for you and for all who have suffered pain and sadness, that the Lord would bring healing, comfort and restoration, and that He would carry you through this difficult time as you continue to seek Him.
