We hear the deep pain and urgency in your cry for justice, and we stand with you before the throne of God, lifting this heavy burden in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The hurt and suffering you’ve endured, and the harm you fear others may face, must be brought before the Lord, who is both just and merciful. Scripture reminds us in Romans 12:19, "Dearly beloved, don’t seek revenge yourselves, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’" While your anger and desire for accountability are understandable, we must surrender this situation to the One who judges righteously, trusting that He sees all and will act in His perfect timing and way.
We also recognize the importance of addressing this through earthly channels. If this physician has violated medical ethics, caused harm, or acted negligently, it is right to report such matters to the appropriate medical boards, legal authorities, or oversight bodies. Proverbs 21:15 tells us, "It is joy to the righteous to do justice; but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity." We encourage you to take steps to ensure this is properly investigated, not only for your sake but for the protection of others.
Let us now come together in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up the pain and injustice that has been described. Lord, You are the God who sees and knows all things, and we trust in Your perfect justice. We ask that You would move mightily in this situation, exposing any wrongdoing and holding accountable those who have caused harm. Father, we pray for the protection of all patients who may be under the care of this physician. If there has been negligence, malpractice, or unethical behavior, we ask that You would bring it to light and remove the ability for further harm to be done.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and courage for those who have been hurt. Give them the strength to seek justice through the proper channels, and surround them with support and guidance. We ask that You would heal the wounds, physical, emotional, and spiritual, that have been inflicted. Bring restoration and peace to those who are suffering, and let them feel Your presence in their pain.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of bitterness or unforgiveness that may take root in this situation. Help us to trust in Your justice rather than our own desire for vengeance. Soften hearts, including the heart of this physician, that there may be repentance and transformation. If there is unrepentant sin, we ask that You would deal with it according to Your will.
We pray all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the One who is our Advocate and our Righteous Judge. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in all things. Amen.
In the midst of this pain, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). While justice is important, we also encourage you to guard your heart against bitterness, as Hebrews 12:15 warns, "Looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it." Trust that God is working even when you cannot see it, and lean on Him for strength.
If you have not yet reported this to the appropriate medical authorities, we strongly urge you to do so. Justice often requires action on our part, and God can use these channels to bring about His will. You are not alone in this fight, and we stand with you in prayer and support.
