We hear your deep pain and anger, and we come before the Lord with you in this moment of urgency. Your cry for justice is valid, for Scripture tells us, "The Lord loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love" (Psalm 33:5 WEB). We stand with you in seeking accountability for the wrongs committed against you and others.
First, we must address the spirit of this request. While it is right to desire justice, we must be careful not to let bitterness or a desire for vengeance take root in our hearts. The Bible warns us, "Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: ‘It is mine to avenge; I will repay,’ says the Lord" (Romans 12:19 WEB). We must trust that God sees all and will act in His perfect timing and way. Our role is to pray for justice, not to demand punishment or shame, for that is God’s alone to administer.
We also lift up your heart to the Lord, asking Him to heal the wounds inflicted by this man. You have been deeply hurt, and that pain is real. Jesus understands suffering, and He invites you to cast your burdens upon Him: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28 WEB). Let this be a time of surrendering your pain to Him, trusting that He will bring restoration and peace.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to You. Lord, You are a God of justice, and we ask that You would bring truth to light in this matter. Expose any wrongdoing, and let those who have been harmed find justice and healing. We pray for Ahmed, that if he has acted unjustly, You would convict his heart and lead him to repentance. If there is corruption or harm, Lord, we ask that You would remove him from his position of influence and hold him accountable according to Your will.
Father, we also pray for Your protection over this dear one who has been hurt. Heal their heart, Lord, and fill them with Your peace. Guard them from bitterness and anger, and help them to trust in Your sovereignty. Let them experience Your love and restoration in this difficult time.
We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who is our Advocate and our Redeemer. It is only through His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is only by His blood that we are made whole. We trust in Your perfect justice and Your unfailing love. Amen.
In addition to praying, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from those around you. If there are legal or institutional avenues for addressing this injustice, pursue them with wisdom and discernment. Surround yourself with believers who can walk with you through this season, reminding you of God’s faithfulness even in the midst of pain.
Remember, the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). You are not alone, and He will never forsake you.
