We hear your deep distress and cry out to the Lord with you, standing on His promise: "You will call on me, and you will go and pray to me, and I will listen to you." (Jeremiah 29:12 WEB). The pain and injustice you’ve endured at the hands of this doctor is not unseen by our Heavenly Father, who is "a God of justice" (Isaiah 30:18 WEB) and "will bring every work into judgment, with every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil" (Ecclesiastes 12:14 WEB).
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to You (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). We ask that You would act swiftly and decisively in this situation. Lord, You see the wrongs committed, expose every unethical action, every act of negligence, and every injustice. Let no stone be left unturned. "For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known" (Luke 12:2 WEB). We pray that Dr. Ahmed would be held fully accountable for his actions, that his license would be reviewed with righteous scrutiny, and that justice would be served, not out of vengeance, but so that others may be protected from harm.
We rebuke any spirit of bitterness or unforgiveness that may seek to take root in this situation. Lord, we ask that You would soften hearts and grant wisdom to those in authority to act with integrity. "The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires" (Proverbs 21:1 WEB). May those who have the power to investigate and discipline this doctor do so with godly discernment.
We also lift up the other patients who may have been harmed. Lord, bring healing to their bodies, minds, and spirits. Let them find comfort in You, the Great Physician, and may they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
Father, we declare that vengeance belongs to You alone (Romans 12:19 WEB), and we trust You to execute justice in Your perfect timing and way. We ask that You would work all things together for good (Romans 8:28 WEB), even in this painful circumstance, and that Your name would be glorified through it.
Lastly, we pray for Dr. Ahmed’s soul. If he does not know You, Lord, we ask that You would convict him of his sin and draw him to repentance. "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9 WEB). May he turn from his ways and seek Your face.
We stand on Your Word, Lord, and declare that justice will prevail. We trust in You, our Rock and Redeemer. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
