Very very very very urgent please please all pray

Your pain has been heard and I understand that you are carrying deep suffering after what you experienced with this doctor, and it is right to bring that hurt before the Lord.

At the same time I cannot pray as you have asked, for God to immediately shame and punish and destroy this man, because that is not how Scripture teaches us to pray. The Lord calls us to a different way. We are taught to have a gentle and human soul, remembering that we ourselves come before God needing forgiveness for much greater things, and that as we forgive so we are forgiven. If we hold fast to a desire for vengeance we place a root of bitterness in our own heart, and a root of bitterness can only bear bitter fruit. It will harm you even more than the original wound.

Scripture is clear that judgment belongs to God. He is the righteous judge who will in the end give to each person what is due, and no injustice will stand. For now He often delays that judgment not from indifference but from lovingkindness, so that there may be time for repentance and for healing. When we demand immediate wrath upon another, we make the judgment seat more dreadful for ourselves, for the measure we use toward others will be the measure used toward us, and by our own words we will be judged. Even when we have been wronged, we are not given leave to speak evil or to call down curses, but to commit our cause to Him who judges justly.

So this is how I will pray for you, and I invite you to pray this way as well.

I will pray that the Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to the Father, will bring you healing in body and peace in mind, and will guard your heart from bitterness. I will pray that He will grant you wisdom and comfort, and that He will give your solicitor wisdom and integrity to handle your case justly and truthfully through the proper lawful process, so that what is right and fair may be done. I will pray that the truth about what happened will be made clear in the right courts and through the right authorities that God has appointed for accountability, rather than through our own desire for revenge. And I will pray even for this doctor, that if wrong was done he would be brought to see it, to repent, and to be held accountable in a just way, and that he would come to know the mercy of Christ that we all need.

If you have not already, please continue to seek wise counsel, both pastoral and legal, and medical care for your ongoing suffering, and bring your anger honestly to God while asking Him to shape it into a desire for what is right and holy, not for vengeance. He hears the cry of those who suffer and He will not abandon you. May you find that as you release this burden to His righteous judgment, you are freed to be healed and to walk in gentleness and forgiveness, trusting His perfect justice and His abundant mercy.

Your pain and the urgency in your prayer are heard, and the suffering you have carried after the way you were treated is real before the Lord. It is right to bring that hurt honestly to Him, and to want what is right and true to come to light.

God is a God of justice and righteousness, and He desires justice to prevail. At the same time Scripture is honest that human courts and systems do not always deliver perfect justice. Truth can seem to fall in the street and fairness can feel far away. God sees that, and He has not overlooked what has happened to you or to others.

The desire for vindication is understandable, yet Scripture gives a clear warning and comfort here. God has said that vengeance belongs to Him and He will repay. That day of His perfect justice will come, but when Jesus came the first time He came to bring redemption and atonement, not immediate vengeance. God does not always bring judgment swiftly, but He will judge righteously. Where you need to be careful is in wanting to carry out that vengeance yourself in your heart. Wanting to see someone shamed and punished without delay can plant a root of bitterness, and that bitterness can spread and defile many, beginning with your own heart. It is important to ask the Lord to keep your heart from devising vengeance and to guard you from that bitterness.

Scripture also teaches the difference between justice and mercy. Justice is receiving what is deserved, mercy is not receiving what is deserved. When we come to God we do not cry for justice for ourselves, because we all need mercy. We cry, have mercy on me, O God. God is gracious and His glory is to grant pardon. Though sins are as scarlet He makes them white as snow when we confess them openly before Him. Forgiveness does not come by justifying ourselves or hiding our hurt, it comes when we acknowledge our need before Him. That same mercy we need is the mercy we are called to show. Forgiveness is not a matter of keeping count, it is a matter of the heart and spirit. God commands a spirit of forgiveness, and if you are willing He will give you the capacity for it. You can pray honestly, Lord, I feel bitter and I want vengeance, but I know that is not Your way, give me a spirit of forgiveness, take this bitterness from me.

Healing is also in God's hands, and He heals in many ways. Sometimes healing is instant, sometimes it is gradual through the natural processes He created, sometimes it is healing of the mind and emotions from deep wounds. All true healing is from Him. Yet the greatest miracle He does is the forgiveness of sins and the salvation we have in Jesus Christ, who bore our sins and took the penalty for them so that God has a righteous basis to forgive. Your healing, both physical and inward, matters deeply to Him, and He wants to keep you on a straight path and not let hurt lead you into dangerous ground.

So in prayer, rather than asking God to immediately shame and destroy another person, bring your case to Him in this way. Ask Him to bring truth into the light through the proper authorities and processes. Pray for wisdom for those representing you, that what is right would be clearly seen, and that any outcome would be just and fair according to His will. Pray for your own heart to be kept in peace and free from bitterness, and for the healing of your body and spirit. Pray also for the doctor, that if wrong has been done he would be held accountable through rightful means and that he would come to see the truth and have opportunity to repent before God. And above all, ask for God's mercy and grace to sustain you, trusting His perfect justice in His perfect time.

May the Lord grant you His peace, guard your heart, and bring healing and restoration as you trust Him. I pray that He will give you wisdom for each step ahead, that truth will be honored, and that you will know His comfort and His forgiving grace at work in your own heart through Jesus Christ.
