We hear the deep pain and urgency in your cry and we stand with you together before the Lord seeking His will in Jesus' name. We understand you have suffered greatly and you believe this surgeon has caused you and many other patients great harm, and you are longing for justice, vindication, and for your case to be made right and for your suffering to be seen and answered.

We want to gently bring your request before the truth of Scripture so that our prayers align with God's heart. It is right to desire justice and truth to be revealed, for the Lord loves justice and He defends those who are oppressed. Psalm 103:6 says Yahweh executes righteous acts, and justice for all who are oppressed. Proverbs 21:15 says Justice done is a joy to the righteous. It is also right to use lawful means to seek accountability and we will pray for your solicitor and for the legal process to be conducted in truth and integrity.

Yet we must also speak the truth in love about the desire for vengeance, for immediate shaming and punishment by our own demands. God's Word teaches us that vengeance belongs to Him alone and that we are to trust His perfect justice and timing rather than demanding He act instantly according to our will. Romans 12:19 says Avenge not yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord. And Romans 12:17 says Repay no one evil for evil. We are also called to pray even for those who have harmed us, not out of approval for wrongdoing, but desiring their repentance and that no further harm would come to others. Matthew 5:44 says Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. This does not mean wrongdoing is excused, but it means we release bitterness and the right to punish into God's hands, trusting He sees all and will judge righteously in His perfect time. Hebrews 10:30 reminds us The Lord will judge his people.

We also hear your repeated plea for no delay, and we understand the agony of waiting. Scripture encourages us to bring our requests to God with earnestness, yet with trust and surrender to His sovereign timing and wisdom. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. He has seen your suffering and He has not forgotten you.

So together we pray for God's perfect justice and mercy to prevail, not our own vengeance.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only mediator and hope. We lift up this dear one who is wounded and suffering to You and we ask You to draw near as the healer of the brokenhearted. Lord, bring comfort, peace, and healing to body, mind and spirit, and guard this heart from bitterness and despair. Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard this heart in Christ Jesus.

Lord, You know the truth about what has happened with this surgeon and with every patient involved. Nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You let truth be fully exposed in a lawful and righteous way. We pray for the solicitor and for all who handle this case, that they would act with wisdom, diligence, honesty and integrity, and that justice would be done according to truth. If wrongdoing has been done, we pray You would stop any further harm, bring rightful accountability through the proper authorities, and bring conviction that leads to repentance. We pray not out of hatred, but that this man would be confronted with truth and turn from any wrong, and that You would protect future patients from harm.

Father, we lay down the desire for personal revenge and for shaming, and we place this entire battle into Your hands. Forgive us for wanting to control Your justice and timing. Teach us to trust Your perfect judgment and Your perfect mercy. Grant, if it is Your will, a fair and righteous resolution to this legal case, including the return of what was lost and just compensation as You deem right, and above all let Your will be done. Help this dear one to forgive as You have forgiven us in Christ, to be freed from the burden of vengeance, and to walk in hope knowing You will repay and restore in Your way and time.

We thank You that You hear us because we come through Jesus Christ Your Son. It is only by His name that we have access to You and there is no other name by which we can be saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. We rest in His finished work on the cross and we ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, trusting Your goodness, Your justice and Your unfailing love. Amen.

Your cry of pain has been heard, and we have brought it before the Lord with deep sorrow for the suffering you have endured. To be wounded and to feel that those who should have brought healing have instead brought harm is a heavy affliction, and it is right to bring that burden honestly before God who sees all things as they are, for He is light and in Him is no darkness at all.

The Scripture you mention, ask and you shall receive, is a precious promise, but it is given to those who come humbly through Jesus Christ, trusting not in the fervency of our words but in His blood and His will. God does not grant our prayers as a means to indulge a spirit of vengeance, but He does hear the prayer of the fearful and the suffering soul who trusts Him. As David who was a man of war yet confessed that he was sometimes afraid, so you may be afraid and distressed, and the remedy is to trust in God. Prevention is better than cure, to trust first and then not to fear, taking God at His word and believing Him with true humility.

We must also remember what the Word teaches concerning forgiveness and vengeance. There is forgiveness with God through Jesus Christ His Son, and that forgiveness is free and full, and it is meant to lead us to repentance and to peace. And there is also a day of vengeance which belongs to the Lord alone. He shall be revealed in His time to judge righteously, and He will speak peace to His people and recompense with perfect justice. It is not for us to ask the Lord to shame or destroy another, for half the forgiveness in the world comes from a feeble hand rather than a forgiving heart, but Christ who could have crushed His adversaries freely forgave, and He calls us to that same glorious victory which is won not with sword and gun but with love, patience and forgiveness.

We cannot pray as you have worded, that God would immediately shame and punish this surgeon according to our desire, for vengeance belongs to God and justice must be committed to Him and to those authorities He has ordained. What we can and do pray is this, that truth would be brought into the light, that if wrong has been done it would be revealed through lawful and honest means, that those in authority would act with wisdom and impartiality, and that you would be upheld and comforted.

Let us pray together for what is right to seek. We ask the Lord to grant you healing for body and soul, for He sent His Word and healed them, and that Word is Christ Himself. We ask Him to give you a calm and trusting heart, to lift the heavy hand of distress and to give you rest in His mercy. We ask Him to grant wisdom and integrity to your solicitor and to all who examine your case, that what is true and just may be established without delay that is contrary to His perfect timing. We ask Him to work in you a spirit of forgiveness, not because the wrong was light, but because you have been forgiven much in Christ, and that in forgiving you may find healing. And above all we ask that you may know pardon through the atoning blood of Jesus, for when sin is forgiven, healing follows, and the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

Cry to Him from your very soul, God be merciful to me a sinner, and He will hear you. Seek first His forgiveness and His presence, and leave the matter of justice in His faithful hands, trusting that He who is both just and merciful will do what is right. May the Lord strengthen your weak hands and confirm your feeble knees, and say to your fearful heart, Be strong, fear not, your God will come and save you. We continue to hold you before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and Healer.
