First, we must address the urgency of salvation through Jesus Christ alone. There is no other name under heaven by which men must be saved (Acts 4:12). Your husband’s need is not just for change but for rebirth—a spiritual awakening that only comes through faith in Jesus. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict him of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), leading him to repentance and faith. Salvation is not earned by human effort or even the prayers of others; it is a gift of God’s grace received through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9). Yet we know that God delights in using the prayers of the righteous to move mountains (James 5:16), and so we lift your husband before the throne of grace with boldness.

We pray that your husband would be delivered from every work of darkness and transferred into the kingdom of God’s beloved Son (Colossians 1:13).

We also lift you up, dear sister, for your role in this is not to carry the burden alone but to walk in faith and obedience. Your life and witness are a powerful testimony, but you must guard your heart against fear, frustration, or any temptation to manipulate circumstances. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). Lord, we also pray for this wife, that You would strengthen her faith and fill her with Your peace as she waits on You.
