Disciple of Prayer
I'm praying over my boyfriend's surgery, which is taking place in two days. I pray for the medical team to watch safely over my boyfriend. I pray for a gentle and lean recovery. I pray that in every moment God holds his hand and blesses him with what He think is best. I pray over my boyfriend's family to be strong and courageous, their son is safe with our Father. Gbless you all, and thank you. 🤍

We join you in lifting up your loved one and his upcoming surgery, standing together in faith and trust in our Heavenly Father. It is clear your heart is tender and full of love as you seek God’s protection and healing. We want to first address the matter of your relationship with your boyfriend. Scripture is clear that the goal of any romantic relationship between believers should be marriage, a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, established by God for life (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6, Ephesians 5:31). Courtship should be entered with purity and the intention of honoring God in all things, including abstaining from sexual intimacy until marriage (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, Hebrews 13:4). If this relationship is not moving toward marriage in a way that aligns with God’s design, we encourage you to prayerfully consider whether it is honoring to Him.

Now, let us come before the Lord together with your request. Your prayers for your boyfriend’s surgery, the medical team, and his family are deeply heard. The Lord is our Great Physician, and He holds all things in His hands. We know that even in the midst of uncertainty, He works all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of trust in Your sovereignty and love. We lift up this dear brother who is facing surgery, asking that You guide the hands of the surgeons and the entire medical team. Grant them wisdom, skill, and clarity as they care for him. Lord, we ask for a gentle and complete recovery, free from complications, and that Your peace would guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray for his family, that You would strengthen them with courage and faith, reminding them that You hold their son in Your loving hands. May they feel Your presence and comfort in every moment.

Father, we also ask that You draw close to this brother in his time of need. Let him feel Your nearness and know that You are with him, even in the valley (Psalm 23:4). We trust in Your perfect will, knowing that Your plans for him are good (Jeremiah 29:11). May this trial be an opportunity for him to grow in faith and for Your name to be glorified. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this time, not only for your boyfriend’s physical healing but also for his spiritual well-being. Pray that he would come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Savior if he does not already, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If he is already a believer, pray that this trial would deepen his relationship with the Lord and draw him closer to God’s heart.

Lean on the promises of God’s Word, such as Isaiah 41:10: "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Let this truth anchor your heart as you wait on the Lord. We are standing with you in prayer, trusting that God is faithful to hear and answer according to His perfect will.

We’re holding your boyfriend, the surgical team, and your entire family before the Lord as the day approaches. Waiting through an operation can feel heavy, our minds can wander, but you’ve placed every need directly in God’s hands already, and that anchors all of us.

What stands out is how you’re praying not only for his physical recovery but for his family’s courage too. That kind of love is a gift. In the hours ahead, your steady presence at his side will speak as loudly as any words. Just being there, maybe holding his hand before they wheel him in, or reading to him during recovery, those quiet acts can become small sacraments of God’s nearness. You don’t have to have perfect words; you’re already bringing Christ into that room.

We’ve seen how much it means when people know they’re not alone. So as you wait, maybe gather a few friends from your church who can text or stop by to pray briefly with you both. And when the medical staff give you updates, a simple “thank you” or “we’re praying for you too” can open a door for grace right there in the hospital corridor.

Recovery can be uneven, so take it one day at a time. Lean into your own need for rest and nourishment as well, you’re carrying a lot. We’re right alongside you, trusting the God who never sleeps.

Please pray with us: Lord Jesus, we ask You to guide every hand and every decision in the operating room. Surround this man with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and give the medical team clarity and steadiness. Strengthen his body for a smooth recovery, and hold his parents and loved ones in Your strong arms. Let them feel Your nearness in every detail. We trust You for what You know is best, and we thank You for the love that’s holding this family together. Amen.

Thank you so much for your kind and mindful words, and I thank God especially! I also pray over your gentle souls and for your struggles. Thank you again

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The great Physician holds the instruments of the surgeon, and no hand moves but under His direction. Strength for the body and soul flows from Him alone. "I will strengthen them in the Lord," He declares, and this strength is wisely measured for each hour of need. Trust that in the operating room, Christ stands nearer than any mortal attendant. His presence brings peace, not a mere calm of circumstance, but the deep, still peace of a mind stayed on Him. The blood of Jesus whispers it within, even when anxious thoughts surge.

Recovery may come in stages, each small gain a fresh claim on affection to the Giver. Do not despise the slow return of vigor, for He gives power to the faint. The leaves of the tree of life are for healing, yes, even the least touch of His grace restores. The palsied man heard first, "Your sins are forgiven," and then took up his bed. Thus, inward peace often precedes outward mending. Pardoning love renews the spirit and then refreshes the flesh.

For your boyfriend’s family, the promise stands: they that wait on the Lord renew their strength. Not in their own courage, but in ceasing from self-trust and leaning wholly upon God. Their son is safe, not because he is out of danger, but because he is in Jesus’ keeping. And you, who pray so tenderly, know that the glory of all strength lies in God alone. It is enough, earth’s struggles soon shall cease, and He calls us to Heaven’s perfect peace. Trust now in Christ’s finished work, and healing shall come from His pardoning hand.
