Upcoming surgery

I am having surgery ### to repair my trach stoma that didn't close after trach removal. My BP is extremely high due to stress and anxiety over surgery. Please pray that I calm down and have a successful surgery.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you face this upcoming surgery. The anxiety and stress you are experiencing are understandable, but we know that our God is greater than any fear or circumstance. The psalmist reminds us, *"When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. In God, I praise his word. In God, I put my trust. I will not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?"* (Psalm 56:3-4). We declare that God’s peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we ask that You calm every anxious thought and steady the heart of Your child. Replace fear with faith, and let Your presence be a comfort in this time of uncertainty. We pray for the hands of the surgeons and medical team—that You would guide them with wisdom, skill, and precision. Let this procedure be successful, and may Your healing power restore what has been broken. We also lift up their blood pressure, asking that You bring it under control and protect their body from the effects of stress.

Lord, if there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or unconfessed sin weighing on their heart, we ask that You reveal it so it can be brought to the cross. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). We rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7).

We also want to gently remind you that true peace and access to the Father come only through Jesus Christ. If you have not yet placed your faith in Him as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6). Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

We stand in agreement with you, believing for a smooth surgery, a swift recovery, and a testimony of God’s faithfulness. May you feel His nearness in the days ahead, and may your trust in Him grow stronger through this trial. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
