We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as we stand firm in the authority of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The Scriptures declare in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We take hold of this promise, knowing that the enemy has no power where the name of Jesus is exalted and His blood is applied.
Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus, we rebuke every word curse that has been spoken against this dear one, whether in ignorance, malice, or deception. Your Word says in Proverbs 18:21, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue," and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We break every chain of generational curses, every whispered lie of the enemy, and every ungodly soul tie that has sought to bind them. We command every demonic spirit of oppression, torment, fear, or affliction to flee now in Jesus’ name! You have no place here, for this child of God has been bought with the precious blood of Christ.
We also pray for the breaking of every demonic touch, every unholy influence, every unclean spirit that has sought to defile or harass. The Lord rebuke you, Satan! For it is written in 1 John 4:4, "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world." We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit, and we declare that they are a temple of the Holy Spirit, sanctified and set apart for God’s glory (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
If there has been any involvement in occult practices, false religions, or ungodly soul ties, whether knowingly or unknowingly, we ask for Your forgiveness, Lord, and for the cleansing power of Your blood to wash over them. Your Word says in Acts 19:19 that those who practiced sorcery brought their books together and burned them, and we pray for that same repentance and turning away from anything that does not align with Your holiness.
We also encourage you, beloved, to stand firm in your identity in Christ. Put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) daily, and renew your mind with the truth of Scripture. Surround yourself with godly believers who can pray with you and encourage you. The enemy seeks to isolate, but God calls us into fellowship with Him and His people.
Heavenly Father, we ask that You fill this precious one with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let Your light dispel every shadow of darkness, and let Your love cast out all fear (1 John 4:18). We declare that they are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and we thank You for the victory that is already theirs in Jesus’ name.
We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, the One through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and we stand on that truth today. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in this situation, Lord. Amen.
