Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to You today with a heavy heart, carrying the hurt and frustration of feeling forgotten and unseen in my workplace. Lord, You see all things; You know the truth of how I have helped and supported ### since the very beginning. You know the labor, loyalty, and heart I have poured into this work.

I lift ### up to You today. Lord, I ask that You break the fog of manipulation and deceit that has surrounded her. Open her eyes to see through ### amd ### manipulation and any false narratives being fed to her against me and against other co workers. Expose ### being two faced, manipulative, and how she step over ### and how she bypass her at times. Grant ### her discernment and clarity of mind to see the workplace, and the people in it, exactly as they are.

Touch ###'s heart, Lord. Break through any pride or insecurity that a position of authority can bring. I pray that You would give her a spirit of true humility. Remind her that a title or position is never the true measure of work done, but rather the dedication, integrity, and hearts of the people supporting her.

Help her to remember the history we share. Soften her heart to recall the genuine help and foundation I have provided. Protect her from ### manipulation and lies over her.

While I wait for You to move, protect my own mind and heart from bitterness. Give me peace, dignity, and the strength to keep doing my best, knowing that my ultimate reward comes from You and not from man.

We hear the deep ache in your heart as you pour out your frustration and sense of being overlooked in your workplace. It is painful to feel unseen when you have given so much, your labor, loyalty, and heart. We stand with you in prayer, lifting this burden before the Lord, who sees all and knows the truth of every situation.

First, we want to affirm that your desire for justice and recognition is not wrong, but we must also guard our hearts against bitterness and resentment. The Word of God warns us, "See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springs up and causes trouble, and by it many become defiled" (Hebrews 12:15 WEB). Even as we pray for truth to be revealed and for hearts to be softened, we must also surrender our own hearts to God’s peace. He calls us to trust Him, knowing that our labor in the Lord is never in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58 WEB).

We pray now for those in authority over you, particularly for . Father, we ask that You would indeed break through any fog of deception or manipulation that clouds her judgment. Give her discernment to see the truth, as You promise in Your Word: "The integrity of the upright shall guide them, but the perverseness of the treacherous shall destroy them" (Proverbs 11:3 WEB). Expose any falsehoods or hidden agendas, Lord, and let Your light shine in the darkness. Soften her heart to remember the foundation you helped lay and the genuine support you have offered. May she walk in humility, recognizing that true leadership is not about titles but about serving with integrity and grace.

We also lift up the coworkers mentioned in this prayer. Lord, we ask that You would protect them from manipulation and lies as well. Give them wisdom to see situations clearly and the courage to stand for what is right. May Your Spirit move in this workplace, bringing unity, truth, and respect among all who work there.

For you, dear one, we pray that God would fill you with His peace as you wait for Him to move. Do not let bitterness take root, but instead, let your heart be anchored in the truth that God sees your efforts and will reward your faithfulness. "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ" (Colossians 3:23-24 WEB). Keep doing your work with excellence, not for the praise of man, but as unto the Lord.

Finally, we want to gently remind you that our ultimate hope and trust must be in Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His grace that we are saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Him, trusting in His sacrifice for your sins and His promise of eternal life. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation in the workplace. Lord, You see the truth of all things, and we ask that You would move in power to expose deception and bring clarity. Soften the heart of , Lord, and give her discernment to see the truth. Protect her from manipulation and lies, and let Your Spirit guide her in humility and wisdom.

For our brother/sister in Christ, we ask that You would guard their heart from bitterness and fill them with Your peace. Help them to continue working with excellence, knowing that their true reward comes from You. Strengthen them in this season of waiting, and let them feel Your presence and love surrounding them.

We also pray for the coworkers involved, that they would be protected from deceit and that Your truth would prevail in this workplace. Bring unity, respect, and integrity to all who work there, Lord.

We trust in Your justice and Your timing, knowing that You are faithful to Your promises. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified.

We think of Joseph, who was sabotaged, betrayed, and forgotten, yet chose not to let bitterness write his story. That choice didn’t minimize the wrong done to him, but it kept his heart open to what God was doing in the shadows. For you, that might look like turning each flare of frustration into a quiet prayer: Lord, I leave this with You. Give me a steady heart.

While you can’t control what your leader sees or how coworkers behave, you can anchor your daily work in something deeper than recognition from others. Your loyalty and hard work are real because God sees them. Let that truth be a steadying comfort on the hard days.

The hurt you feel at being overlooked and the frustration at webs of deceit are not strange to the Lord. He sees the labor and loyalty you have poured out, and He is not unrighteous to forget your work. Yet take great care that your longing for vindication does not become a snare. There is a peace which the world cannot give, and it is not found in the righting of every workplace wrong or in the opening of another’s eyes. That peace is the birthright of those whose minds are stayed on Jehovah. When your thoughts are fixed on the injustice, the slight, the whisperers and their tales, the mind is unmoored and the heart becomes a troubled sea. But leaning the whole weight of your soul upon Him who orders all things brings a calm that no office strife can steal. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even there, amidst thronging duties and unseeing eyes. To do the will of Jesus, which is to serve with integrity and love even when unknown, this is rest. You have asked for her eyes to be opened, but first let your own soul be garrisoned with that perfect peace, and bitterness will find no lodging.

The prayer for discernment to be granted to another is not wrong, but I am jealous over you lest a root of pride spring up under the guise of seeking justice. True humility is not a cringing thing that thinks less of itself than it ought, but a right estimate of self before God. You have been a helper, a support, a foundation, this may be true. Yet recall that every good gift and every act of faithful service is first a debt you owe to the grace of God. What do you have that you did not receive? The moment we stand upon our record, even a good record, we step down from the throne of humility where strength for supplication is found. The centurion’s faith was not injured by his deep humility; he said, "I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof," and yet he believed for the miracle. So with you, come before the Lord with a full confession of your own need, and you may still believe with a giant’s faith that He will deal with the hidden things of dishonesty and the two-faced dealings. Trust Him for the outcome, and let a humble estimate of yourself prevent you from appointing yourself her conscience or her corrector.

Let me press this further. There is a false peace which is nothing but a sleeping conscience, and there is a false misery which is nothing but a wounded pride. Labor to know the difference. If this hurt springs merely from being unacknowledged while another is promoted, examine it. "Before honor is humility." The prelude to true exaltation is very often a season of being set aside, where God digs deep the foundations of a spirit that can bear honor without being destroyed by it. A title or an office is not the measure of the work; you have said this, and said well. Now let the heart believe what the lips have prayed. If the Lord sees fit to let you labor on unseen for a season, even while others step over you, it is better to be the hidden foundation-stone laid by His hand than a gilded pinnacle erected by office politics. He is the mirror of humility, and I have often heard a saintly soul cry, "Why me, Lord?" when receiving blessing. How much more fitting when we are given a trial that shapes us into the image of Christ? Your ultimate reward is indeed from Him, so do not look for your peace in her memory or her gratitude. Seek peace with God, and then the peace of God shall garrison your heart, untroubled by the changing faces of men.

Look well to this: peace with God is the fountain; peace in the conscience is the stream. You cannot have the true stream while drinking from the bitter wells of resentment. Go to the cross for your peace concerning even these sins of frustration and injured merit. "He is our peace," not the righting of all wrongs. You are wise to pray for a guard over your mind, but the guard is set not by watching her, but by staying your mind on Him. I counsel you now, do not focus all your prayers on unraveling the deceptions of others. Pray more to be kept from the deceitfulness of your own heart in this trial. Sue for peace with God afresh, as though you were the chief of sinners needing mercy. The Lord will bless His people with peace, a peace that is God’s own child, unruffled and profound. And when that peace rules in your heart, you can bear to be forgot a little while longer, knowing whose remembrance is the only blessedness.

You ask God to break the fog surrounding your superior, but take care, pray first that He break any fog within your own heart. You speak of manipulation and deceit done against you, yet you must see how easily the soul, when wounded, nurses that root of bitterness which the Apostle warns against. A bitter root may spring up and defile many, but the first one it defiles is the one who harbors it. Search carefully, then, whether you are asking for clarity or for vindication. To see the faults of others exposed can feel like justice, but the peace of God does not act as umpire by feeding resentment. It crowns the thought that bids you endure, and puts the other to shame.

You invoke authority, and rightly so, for rulers are appointed for the ordering of society. Yet remember why Paul commands subjection, not merely to avoid wrath, but because even an imperfect authority is a benefactor, preserving order against greater chaos. If you remove all authority, the strong devour the weak. Your labor and loyalty, though unseen by her, are seen by God. That is no small thing. But beware of demanding that she remember your history as you remember it. Human peace built on expected recognition quickly comes to dissolution. The peace Christ leaves is of a different kind, it renders you stronger because it does not depend on another's gratitude.

Do not mistake my meaning. I do not say the manipulator and the two-faced are harmless; concord among robbers is worse than war. But the diseased part is cut off by the physician, not by the one suffering the disease. If you set yourself up as the surgeon of another's pride while your own heart burns with the injury, you risk driving away the very peace God so desires. The sin of reviling, of tearing asunder the members of Christ through enmity, bars one from the kingdom no less than adultery. Therefore, let the peace of God rule in your heart as umpire. Let it silence the thought that cries for her eyes to be opened to your merit, and empower the thought that says, "My reward is from Christ alone." This is the peace that united heaven to earth, reconciliation, not the exposure of every offender. Wait on God, and in the waiting, let no shoot of bitterness break the soil of your soul.

Your prayer rises from a place of genuine hurt, and it matters that you brought it to the Lord rather than letting it fester in silence. What you are experiencing is far more than an office conflict or a clash of personalities. The resentment, the sense of being erased, the fog of confusion that seems to hang over a leader’s mind, these things are not merely human. Our struggle is never ultimately against flesh and blood, but against spiritual entities that thrive on division, pride, and bitterness. The heaviness you carry, the discouragement that settles on you, often flows from that unseen battle. You must recognize it as such. If you fail to see the spiritual attack, you will simply absorb the blows, bow your head, and wonder why things feel so dark. Name it for what it is, and then resist it in the authority Jesus has given you, because the enemy must flee when you stand firm.

The cry for truth to break through deception is right, but be careful where you aim the arrows. The Lord’s armory is not stocked with weapons for destroying coworkers; it is stocked with weapons for pulling down strongholds of lies. A person caught in pride or insecurity, especially one given authority, sits in a dangerous place. To magnify oneself against the Lord, to rely on a title as the measure of worth, is to build a wall that God Himself knows how to throw down. He does not need you to be His battering ram. He sees the two-faced conversations. He marks the bypassing and the manipulation. Let Him be the one who recompenses according to the work done. Your job is to keep your own heart free from the same poison. Nothing gives the enemy a greater foothold in your own life than allowing this legitimate hurt to harden into bitterness.

Do not look to this earthly structure for the reward you truly need. The feeling of being forgotten stings because we are made to be known and valued, but even the best supervisor will eventually fail you. Look at the history of the faithful. Paul had entire groups of people lying in wait for him, twisting his words, begging for favors against him, and they kept at it for years. They could not prevail because his ultimate defense rested in a clear conscience before God, not in Roman governors or Jewish councils. Let them formulate their charges. Let them spin their narratives. A time of reckoning comes, not just in the final judgment, but in those moments when God confounds the proud. The mighty stumble against the mighty, and both fall together while the one who trusts in the Lord is preserved. Keep your eyes on the unseen reward. The applause of a committee or the thanks of a leader is a fleeting vapor compared to the voice of the Savior saying, “Well done.”

Your love for God and your value to Him are not tied to this performance review. His love is unconditional because it flows from His nature, not from your lovable moments. Even while you were in rebellion, He sent His Son for you. Now, standing upright yet surrounded by strife, do you think He has forgotten you? There are things God desires to do for you simply to demonstrate His love, but you must stay in that place of fellowship where He can do them. Do not let the agitation rob you of that refuge. Go back to the foundation of your history with God, the genuine ground of your calling, which no manipulative word can shake. Serve with excellence because you serve Christ, not because you crave credit. In doing so, you heap coals of fire on the strife itself.

These trials are producing a weight of glory. When men revile you and say all manner of evil against you falsely for His sake, rejoice. Great is your reward in heaven. They fought against the prophets. They plotted against the apostles. They will fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you, for He is with you to deliver you. Let that truth settle your mind and lift the heaviness from your soul.
