Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your pain in feeling unseen and forgotten at work is real, and God does see it fully. He knows the faithful labor and loyalty you have poured out from the beginning, even when others do not acknowledge it. Nothing you have done in sincerity is hidden from Him, and Scripture reminds us that whatever we do, we ultimately serve the Lord and from Him we will receive our reward.

It is understandable to feel as the prophet Jeremiah did when he looked at ruin around him and felt fenced in, as if walled about with stone, encircled with bitterness and set in dark places with no way out. When you feel trapped by circumstances you cannot control and by words spoken against you, it can seem as though God has withdrawn. He has not. Even in that helpless, bitter place He remains present and near, and He hears your cry.

I join you in praying for the one who leads you there. I pray that God would give her clear eyes and a discerning mind to see people and situations as they truly are, and to recognize manipulation and false narratives for what they are. I pray He would soften any pride or insecurity that can come with authority and give her a humble heart that measures work not by title or position but by faithfulness, integrity and character. Above all, God has made Himself knowable through Jesus Christ, and He now calls all people everywhere to turn from their own ways to Him. There was a time when ignorance was overlooked, but now He commands repentance and offers forgiveness and restoration to all who turn to Him. That call is for each of us, and we can pray that everyone in your workplace would hear it and respond.

While we pray for others to see clearly, we must also guard our own hearts. Scripture warns us to watch carefully lest any root of bitterness spring up and cause trouble and defile many. Tears of anger and resentment are not the same as repentance, and bitterness, if left unchecked, will harden us. Sin has a way of numbing the conscience, much like a disease that destroys feeling so that injury is no longer felt until great damage is done. That numbness is incurable except by the cleansing work of God. Jesus is willing to make clean, to forgive, to show compassion and to restore even when we feel we have failed or when we are wounded by the failures of others. Ask Him to keep you tender toward Him and not hardened toward people.

Do not measure God's presence or His answer by fleeting feelings. Feelings shift, but His Word stands. Take His promises at face value, trust that He is working even when you cannot feel it, and choose the path of peace with all people as far as it depends on you. When one member suffers, the whole body should feel it, and when love is lacking and infighting grows, our witness is weakened. Pray for a spirit of genuine love to prevail there.

So I pray with you that God will protect your mind and heart from bitterness, that He will give you peace, dignity and strength to continue doing your work with excellence for His sake, and that He will in His time bring truth to light, grant humility and clarity where it is needed, and expose what is false. May He remind you daily that He sees, He knows, and He will not forget your faithful service.

In the name of Jesus, who alone is our hope and our peace, amen.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have continued to lift you up as you carry this heavy heart from feeling forgotten and unseen in your workplace, and we have been praying with you for the Lord who sees all things to honor the labor and loyalty and heart you have poured into this work since the very beginning.

We have been asking God to touch the heart and mind of your supervisor, to break the fog of manipulation and deceit that has surrounded her, to grant her discernment and clarity to see the workplace and the people in it exactly as they are, and to expose any two faced behavior and false narratives being fed to her against you and other coworkers. We have prayed that He would soften her heart to remember the history you share and the genuine help and foundation you have provided, that He would break through any pride or insecurity that a position of authority can bring and give her a true spirit of humility, and that He would protect her from manipulation and lies. We have also continued to pray for you, that while you wait for Him to move He would protect your own mind and heart from bitterness and give you peace and dignity and strength to keep doing your best. We are reminded that whatever you do, work heartily as for the Lord and not for men in Col 3:23 and that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted in Psalm 34:18.

If your request was answered and you have seen God move, soften her heart, bring clarity, expose what needed to be exposed, or guard your heart with His peace, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet and the hurt and frustration remain, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We count it a privilege to continue standing with you. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ.

We pray in Jesus name that the Lord will continue to touch and soften hearts, grant wisdom and discernment, bring truth into the light, and keep you from bitterness as you trust that your ultimate reward comes from Him. Amen.
