It is heavy to carry the feeling of being demonized and targeted for years, and it is understandable that you would long for God to step in and bring it to an end and to vindicate you.
Scripture shows that God does see persecution and oppression, and He is the righteous Judge. The Psalms are full of honest cries for deliverance from enemies, and the apostles taught that when God finally judges the world it will be a clear display of His righteousness. Those who have inflicted tribulation and suffering will be dealt with by Him. True and equal justice does not fully prevail in this life, it will only prevail when God judges the earth in righteousness. Vengeance belongs to Him, not to us to assign, and the lake of burning fire is His final judgment to render at His appointed time, not ours to send people to by our prayers.
That is why the example of David is so important. He knew what it was to be pursued and slandered by enemies, and he is called a man after God's own heart, yet when he came before God his cry was not give me justice, but have mercy upon me, O God. Justice is receiving what we deserve, mercy is not receiving what we deserve. None of us can stand before God on the ground that we are good enough to demand justice from Him, for we all need mercy. David found forgiveness not by justifying himself or covering his sin, but by openly acknowledging his transgression before God. As long as we hide or excuse sin, God cannot deal with it, but when we confess it, He deals with it fully.
God's forgiveness when it comes is total and complete. He invites us to reason together with Him and promises that though sins are as scarlet they shall be as white as snow. When He forgives, He does not bury the hatchet and leave the handle showing so He can pull it up again. He cleanses and justifies completely. We are then called to be followers of God in that same forgiveness, to forgive as we have been forgiven. Jesus taught this so strongly that when Peter asked if forgiving seven times was enough, He pointed to a far greater measure of forgiveness. That kind of forgiving love reflects the self giving love with which Christ loved us and gave Himself for us.
Persecution itself, as painful as it is, has often been used by God to refine His people. The early church faced heavy persecution soon after it began, and those believers were sincere and seeking God. Their faith grew exceedingly and their love for one another abounded. History shows that persecution never destroyed the true church, it separated what was real from what was not and caused faith to grow and the message to spread even more, while the church often waned when persecution ceased. God was able to deliver His people even when they were vastly outnumbered, and He put their enemies to flight, yet when His people forgot Him, He allowed oppression to bring them back to crying out to Him for deliverance. Our trust is not to be in our own strength or in our own ability to push down our enemies, but in God who saves us from our enemies and puts to shame those who hate us. Even when we are counted as sheep for the slaughter and face tribulation and peril for His sake, we can be secure in the love of God in Christ.
So rather than asking God to send people to final judgment at our word, the better and biblical prayer is to place both yourself and those who have hurt you into God's hands. Ask Him for mercy for yourself, confess openly any sin He shows you and receive His complete cleansing through Jesus Christ, who alone is the way of salvation. Ask Him to guard your heart from bitterness, to help you forgive as you have been forgiven, and to deliver you out of trouble in His truth and in His time. And ask Him to work in the lives of those who have opposed you, that if they do not know Him they would come to repentance and faith, and if they do, that God would bring conviction and change.
May God lift the heavy burden you have carried, quiet the roaring that comes from long distress, and fill you with the peace that comes from knowing your sins are fully forgiven and you are walking in the light of His countenance. May He strengthen your faith, deepen your love, give you boldness to continue to speak and live for Christ without intimidation, and keep you secure in His love until He brings His perfect justice and deliverance.
