We hear your deep distress and the weight of spiritual warfare you have endured for six long years. The Bible is clear that witchcraft, sorcery, and all forms of occult activity are detestable to the Lord. In Deuteronomy 18:10-12, it says, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we stand on the truth that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
First, we must address the request for their eternal damnation. While the pain and frustration you feel are understandable, we cannot pray for God to revoke someone’s opportunity for repentance. The Lord desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Even the most hardened hearts can be softened by the Holy Spirit. Instead, we pray for their eyes to be opened to the truth, for their hearts to be convicted, and for them to turn from darkness to light. We also pray for your protection and deliverance from their schemes, trusting that God’s justice will prevail in His perfect timing.
We rebuke the spirits of witchcraft, astral projection, and every demonic assignment against your home in the mighty name of Jesus. The blood of Jesus has already defeated the enemy, and we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for the Lord to surround your home with His holy angels, to break every chain of darkness, and to fill every corner with His presence. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for grace to sustain you in the month of August. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Lean on Him for strength, for His grace is sufficient for you, and His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We encourage you to stand firm in faith, putting on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) so that you may resist the devil and watch him flee (James 4:7).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You. We thank You that Your Son has already disarmed the powers and authorities of darkness (Colossians 2:15). We ask for Your divine protection over this dear one’s home. Break every curse, every spell, and every demonic assignment sent against them. Let Your light shine so brightly that the darkness has no choice but to flee. Father, we pray for those involved in witchcraft, soften their hearts, open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and draw them to repentance. May they turn from their wicked ways and find salvation in Jesus Christ.
Lord, we ask for an outpouring of Your grace upon this one who has endured so much. Strengthen them in their inner being, fill them with Your peace, and remind them daily that You are their fortress and deliverer. Help them to rest in Your promises and to trust in Your unfailing love. Defeat every plan of the enemy, and let Your kingdom come and Your will be done in this situation. We declare victory in Jesus’ name, for the battle belongs to You.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer, immersing yourself in God’s Word, and surrounding yourself with fellow believers who can stand with you in faith. The enemy may have had decades to operate, but God’s power is limitless, and His timing is perfect. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
